Where did you put your towel rack?

We're getting ready to install tile and plan on increasing the height on the wall where our towel rack once was. I don't want to interrupt the tiled space with a towel rack, but where else should it go?? Show me your creative solution for kitchen towel storage next to your sink.

I took the hand towel stand from one of my bathrooms and set it next to my sink.

Looks good, KA! Now....do you think I can get DH to fold them so nicely?? I hadn't considered a 'stand alone' solution - thank you.

I need some advice on where to put the volume control valves in new shower. I am planing on a rainshower head to come from the ceiling and a handheld on a 36" long wall bar. It could be on a wooden dowel that slides into (from above) two pieces with U cut-out wooden piece that is attached to the inside of each side. Hope that makes sense. ;D

where did you put your large stockpots?

I have a pull out under my induction cooktop. I can store something up to 18" tall, and my 21 qt is not quite that big. My problem is I have three larger stockpots that work with my induction cooktop, and that cabinet only has room for two. My really big stuff gets stored in my summer kitchen, and the two canners get stored in the large back closet. I started using that as my pantry but I had to move the jars to the cellar as I ran out of room. My kitchen is still in process and I'll have a large appliance storage area. So I'll probably make sure I design it so the largest pot will fit. I'm a bit of an appliance junkie. Cathy

"The rounded edge on the inside of my sink and the two outside side edges cost a total of $150 more." This is why I keep preaching that fabricators should sell this option instead of that gawdawful ugly cheap "pencil" edge at sinks. One chip, and that's "when", not "if", and you've paid me nearly $300.00 to fix it on site. Pulling the faucet and sink, profiling and polishing a proper round over, and reinstalling the sink and faucet to reduce the risk of future chips could be $500.00 or more.

Oh boy... Have i got a lot to learn... I'm still using the oven handle. In our remodel, the wall oven will be too far from the sink so i was happy that I could use the handle on the dishwasher. I don't think my wife would recognize me if i didn't have the dishtowel over my shoulder when she came home from work.
OK, note to self... Look for really cool towel holder. Thanks for the idea.

Nothing wrong with that. That's our plan: to put a wider handle on the DW cabinet to use for a towel.
