Could really use some prayers please

I wrote out an entire update and it was the size of a novel so I deleted it.

In short, after his back surgery in November, DH was making progress, slow but sure. One day about a month ago he was sitting on one of those exercise balls and it burst. (The box claimed it was anti-burst and could hold up to 1,000 pounds) He hit the floor very hard. Things have only gone down hill since then. I worry that the fall caused his bulging disk to herniate, which would put my poor DH back at square one. :( The surgeon sent him to get an MRI and x-rays. We go tomorrow afternoon to get the results. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Good thoughts and prayers for your dh. I thought those exercise balls were sturdier than that!

What a terrible thing to happen to him. I am so sorry.

Yes! I love our gray porcelain 12" x 12" tile. It's imported Italian tile: Granitogres from Casalgrande (distributed by Daltile) in an oddly named color they call "Arizona," I believe. But it's a very hue-neutral gray--no brown or beige tones in it at all, contrary to its "earthy sounding" name. It's a beautiful, concrete-looking color with flecks of grays and white. Very modern-looking. If we're successful in matching the grout color, it'll look like a continuous, concrete-like floor from a distance. And, yes, I was initially attracted to solid-surface materials for the same reasons. Low-maintenance! It's a tough call, but I'm so happy with the Granitogres porcelain. I'm not a big fan of grout lines either, but we're jumping through hoops to match the tile color as closely as possible in the grout to achieve our desired aesthetic effect. If your heart's set on solid-surface, then by all means, get it. But, I think you have enough of an idea of what you want that you're likely to be pleased with whatever material on which you finally decide. Good luck!

Still need help pretty please! Lavender lass-No I am too afraid to continue on to the site. When I click on it there is a warning about StopBadware.org. I haven't changed my settings and this has never happened before. The only thing I can think of is when the computer updates itself mabey it is installing more secured software, if that makes sense. I just want to find colors she (Candice Olson) uses in smaller basements for the walls and couch. I am not sure what paint color would look good with the Oat microfiber couch from Pottery Barn. The color of the couch above is not accurate. It is about 2 shades darker in person. More like this. Sorry for all of the pics but if anyone else could give me feedback on paint color that would go with this couch. Three that I am concidering are BM Muslin and BM slate or silvery blue. Or do I keep it monochromatic because of the small space? Interesting how the couch color changes with not only lighting but surrounding wall color and accessories. Thanks for looking

Oh, Heather, I'm so sorry to hear of this. I thought those balls were stronger than that. After all he has gone through already, this is not good news. I hope it's just infamation that can be controlled until it goes away completly. I will keep you both in my thougts.

I have one of those balls in my home office and use it on occasion instead of my desk chair. The box did say that it would hold a lot of weight. Guess I need to be careful now.....
