I Tried Something New......Success!!

An email from King Artur Flour in Nov. showcasing "Chocolate Cherry Brioche" is was finally made me cave and purchase my bread machine.

Yesterday's snowstorm kept me homebound so I was able to make it, and the 11" of snow I shoveled from our walkways, and deck justified the caloric splurge :)

I had never made brioche, but the step-by-step instructions w/ pictures on the KA Baker's Blog were clear & explicit.

It's not a quick process, but it was worth the time. DH got in around 9pm and had a still-warm slice. He thought I was a culinary genius, but it wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be.
