I've watched it a couple of times after channel surfing and coming upon it. Enjoy the treasure hunts, too; but there was a couple of times I was worried when the older people were filmed showing off the contents of their buildings, they might be exposed to thieves later? I guess I've never heard actual addresses mentioned on the show though.

Yes, I have been watching and I am amazed when they crawl around over junk and pull something out. I also liked Pawn Stars that comes on the same channel.

Yes, I enjoy it. We watched it tonight, as a matter of fact. Told Twinkie that I wish they'd occasionally just pan the camera around so that I could look at what I want to see! LOL

I like it too..did you see the one where the guy dug the underground tunnels?? I was actually afraid for him that being on TV some "official" would see it and make him close up his tunnels for safety reasons.

I saw that one with the underground tunnels. That guy who'd dug those tunnels didn't look like he was quite right in the head. That one made me sad.

After seeing it mentioned here, I watched it last night, plus the pawn shop one. I loved it, but oh, my what piles of stuff. Hope that guy gets his fence done.

We try to never miss it & wish I could go with them...

I've watched it a couple of times also, and i always worry that they are going to get bit by some kind of spider or snake.Don't get me wrong,i love junk as well, just don't want to have to dig for it.

I forgot!!

How about if one of you post a reminder next week?

I'll do it - I first posted about this show about a month ago.

I find it very interesting - but for some reason I call it American NOSE Pickers.

I guess that type of show would appeal to a different demographic.

We love it too, I'm always wondering if they'll run into a snake while climbing over all that stuff! Great show.

Sounds very interesting. I'll look for it!

We really like this show. It always amazes me when the owner - usually an older man or woman - says "sure you can look around and I would be willing to sell". Then everything they ask about buying, he/she says "I don't think I could sell that." Cracks me up. I bet their kids are yelling Sell! Sell! Sell!

They really do find some interesting things. Pickers and Pawn Stars are both very interesting shows. I learn a lot from them on the history of things.

I don't have cable, but I watched it when I was house sitting for a friend. I enjoy it, but, I like old junk. I have four
outbuildings here, full of junk...and, I have vowed, that once my house is finished, I am getting rid of anything that I can't use. That because, my daughter is already dreading the day she has to go through all of it. One of the buildings I am going to turn into a chicken house.

Give me a trash pile, and about three minutes, and nine times out of ten...unless it is thoroughly modern trash...I can find an interesting piece of junk.

I take care of an old man who is practically an invalid. He hasn't stepped out of his house in over four years. I keep his yard mowed, clean his house, do his shopping, bring him lunch every day, etc. The other day I went to his house and someone had dumped two old worn out tires with rusted rims in his yard, right by his driveway, about 10 ft. in front of his garage. I couldn't believe the nerve of some people. Anyway, I loaded them in my truck, and stopped by my friend's shop, and when she saw one of the old tires...it has spokes...she wanted it. I told her she was even a worse junk hustler than I am. ;) Well, at least that only gave me one that I had to dispose of.
