Not much, I didn't even vote this time. I was actually surprise Pamela did better then I would have expected.
Too soon to tell much about this show.

I thought it was ok Good to ses Max dance again. I thought Buzz did ok. He danced pretty good I've seen men his age in dancing classes not do as well.
I thought Niecy did a great job and everyone seemed to like her.

Well......I dunno, no real standouts for me. Except that good looking guy from a soap! He isn't a great dancer, but he is "HOT!"

I thought Kate looked annoyed with the judges comments. She seemed almost standoff-ish to me. She needs to smile more.

Pam Anderson...what can I say? Only the first week and I'm not sure how much more of her hair flipping, sex kitten act, mauling her partner I can take.

The rest...blah. I really dont care one way or another. I think their cast of "celebrities" this season is horrible.

I liked Brooke Burke though!

This season I couldn't get past the fake tans, the overly white and veneered teeth, hair extensions and fake boobs; it was a joke! Is that the way "stars' are made? LOL!

I agree Kate looked annoyed and awkward. She won't last!

I read an article online a few days ago, that said Tony D. had not much to say about Kate that was nice. He said she is a klutz who can't dance and doesn't seem to want to learn how to dance. I think Tony is great, and I hate to see him stuck with Kate for a partner.

I think Buzz Aldrin is a great person with a really neat personality. We've watched a lot of documentaries on the space program and putting men on the moon (incredible to find out what little comptuer power they had running that thing when they went to the moon). It was a hoot hearing Buzz Aldrin tell how the reason he paused on the way down the steps onto the moon's surface was so that he could "empty his bladder" and become the first person to P on the moon.

However, at his age now, he's simply not a dancer and we all know that no matter how great a man he is, no matter how great an American hero he is, he will never be good enough to stand a snowball's chance on this show. I think it's a shame that ABC wants to humiliate him this way.

Pamela Anderson did a lot better tonight than I expected. BUT, it's because she had a Latin dance tonight that allowed her to play the sex kitten role. Next week she's going to have to do a ballroom dance (I think it will be the Foxtrot)... She'll do great on the sexy Latin dances, but I don't know how long she can hold on with ballroom dances.

Maks, to me, is one of the best of the male pro dancers. I love watching him dance. I'm glad he's got a decent partner this time, so that he'll have a chance of winning.

Don't usually watch it but did this time with this cast. I agree on Pamela Anderson. What a turn off she is. I noticed it was all about her when she knew the camera was on her. Yuk! Every man she was clinging to will need an alcohol rub! I enjoyed the Pussycat girl (don't know name). Did anyone notice the right boob on Shannen Dougherty? It looked... squashed! Anyway, funny entertainment if nothing else!

The worst one for me was the soap star. He looked awkward and stiff. Pam was o.k., but didn't care for Kate at all. Strikes me as a pouty little kid.

I don't know about Shannen's boob, but I kept waiting for Brooke's to fall out of her dress. She might have been a winner on a previous show, but don't think much of her as a co-host. I'll wait and hopefully she'll grow on me.

Don't care much for the new format either. But then again, I'm not the producer!

We liked Chad Ochocinco (Cheryl Burke's partner), and were surprised that he only got 6's from the judges. I especially liked that he told Cheryl to compliment him only when he really deserves it. He moves well, too.

Erin Andrews (Maks' partner) and Nicole Scherzinger (Derek's partner) also did well, as did Evan Lysacek, though I agree that he doesn't have a lot of musicality.

I really don't care for the new way of ending, by having the dancers walk to the "peanut gallery". That just doesn't look very relaxing or comfortable.

I agree with all the assessments so far. Except, lindsey, I doubt anyone is forcing Buzz to appear. He's making his own embarrassment, BUT, no matter, he's having fun it seems!

I love Maks too.

Have to agree with everyone. Did you see the new dancer Damion? He is going to be as great as Derek!

I'm voting for Shannen myself.

My favorites were the Evan, the skater, and Nicole.

Kate looked miserable and like she wanted to bit off the judge's heads, spank them, or send them to time out until they tell her she's simply amazing. I still don't know what qualifies her (or Jake) as a celebrity. I want her gone next week.

Buzz is cute...not a dancer, but, hey, he's 80, and to try to do what he's doing with all the hours of practice is amazing. Good for him. His wife scared me though when they showed her...all that face surgery was pitiful.

Pam did a good job, except for the hair tossing. I predict she'll do very well. I've always liked her. They'll have to be sure to make her costumes secure up there because "they" might just POP out for all to see when she does a back bend over her partner's arm.

I was surprised that the soap star did so lousy, but he's good eye candy for as long as he lasts.

Shannon danced surprising well and has great potential. She's not aging very gracefully though, IMO.

The rest were fine.

Kate looked as if she wanted so badly to explode at the judges, like she did with everyone on her own 'show'. I didn't catch exactly what she said about her kids. Did anyone else? Surely, she wasn't hinting she was doing this 'for her kids'.

debi, I totally agree about Shannen...she isn't aging well at all. She looks really "worn". I thought they could have dolled her up better than they did. Her hair looked greasy and flat.

I thought Buzz was horrible and way too goofy acting, almost creepy. I thought he looked amazingly like Hugh Hefner. I wonder if he has some problems with cognition, because his partner said she was worried about him remembering the dance steps? I think he'll be the first to go (or Kate, who was just horrible too)

Really liked the pussycat doll, she was my fave woman. Thought Pam Anderson did well too but she is just so out there, with that wild hair and clingy weirdness. I'd love to have her legs, though! Wowser. She can keep her fake watermelon boobies though.

Brooke's "girls" were too much and too out there, IMHO. She needs to tone it down some, I think. All in all she didn't quite measure up to the task.

I'm getting tired of having dancers on the show that obviously have no business being on there. This time it's Buzz Aldrin; he could hardly walk to the music, let alone dance to it.

Kate Goslin needs to improve her camera personna as well as her dancing skills. I expect she'll be gone by the 2nd week.
Her outfit was awful!! (Pink cotton candy?) But I suppose it was designed to hide her lack of footwork skills.

Pamela Anderson....well, if rubbing and grinding get her points, then maybe she'll hang in there for awhile. But her act gets old real quick.

Jake....should have stayed home to watch it on TV with the "love of his life". He's trying to win this on "cute 'n perky".

I think Aiden (soap star) has good stage presence and with some more experience should get much better. I think he's got lots of potential.

The others did okay but I didn't see anybody that I thought was a sure winner. It's up for grabs.

I agree! I think Buzz needs to go first and Kate to follow. There were no real standouts last night, in fact I was slightly bored with some.

I think Pam will "sex up" any dance she's given which will get old really quick. I hope she calms down because I think she'll do well.

Pussycat doll was my favorite, I think she'll go far.

I thought the dancers for the most part were much better than in the past. Why is it those big football players are often the best dancers? Maybe because Cheryl is a good teacher, but they're so big you'd think they'd be clumsy.

I really enjoyed the show, but I felt bad for Buzz Aldrin. Heroes shouldn't get old.

It's good seeing the regular pros as usual. I noticed that Kim isn't here this time around.

Max is the continual eye-candy for sure! In fact I posted on the other thread about Stephanie Plum that Max would be my pick for Ranger.

I agree with everyone else, re: Pam, Buzz, and good ol' Kate. (also read she was a real b*tch on the show).

I prefer to see Kate go before Buzz, just so she can be humiliated. That's how much I dislike her and would really enjoy seeing her pout. Okay, I'm a meanie.

I agree about Brooke's boobs. Why do these girls feel the need to show off what they paid thousands for. Oh, I answered my own question. I think people would have more respect if they kept the boobs at least half covered. But then, that may affect ratings? It's so hard NOT to look at all that cleavage poking one in the eyeballs. And I'm straight! I think Brooke will be a good replacement though....just cover up a bit, will ya!!

Well, here we go again. They stack the deck so poor Buzz never gets a chance to show any improvement. That Pussycat gal is a professional dancer, and the ice dancer dude is trained also.

Why can't they give us competitors who all start out on an even playing field; then let us see who can progress through about 4 weeks. Then it would be easier to vote out the really awful ones.

The show just doesn't have the right feel to me this season. I found it boring last night. The music wasn't loud enough or something. I don't know, I can't quite put my finger on it. I thought I'd want Kate to be the first to go but Pamela was a BIG TURN OFF. I WANT HER GONE! I'm pulling for Evan, though he didn't really do so that great last night.

I agree w/ Debi. I want Kate to go first even before Buzz. I dislike her and always have and think she thinks she's a star. Why I haven't a clue. She had a litter of kids. How does that qualify her for anything? She's lives around here and if you would have seen her a few years ago, you would realize EVERYTHING about her is fake. Fake hair, fake teeth, fake boobs, fake tummy. She's a diva in her own mind. I'd love to see her beaten by Buzz.

I'm sure the fans will keep Buzz in.....he is an American Hero.

Brooke Burke's ex-husband (the father of her 2 older girls) is a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon.

I remember her when she was on that Wild On show and they look to be about the same size as they were then. I'm sure her ex did a bit of work on her.

They'll keep Buzz in the show b/c being the HERO that he is, everyone will want to see if he does improve and what he's capable of at his age.

They'll probably keep the soap star in too, even though he sucked, because he looks good.

Pam will remain for a long while because she brings the viewers. I really think she'll so well.

I think Kate has a lot of "hater fans" and she doesn't add any thing to the show, so I can only pray many people think the same and want her to go. Besides, I really think this woman needs to be home with her kids and get a day job while they're in school. Frankly, I think she uses the excuse of taking TV jobs to support her kids, but I think it's because she wants to be known as a celebrity and it's how she can continue to be in the public eye. I think she's all about her. I really mean that. This woman has money to burn...$7K on her extentions that she took out 2 days later, then put back in for the show; $XX for her plastic surgery on her body, $1M on her home. I can't imagine how much money the show spent on converting her basement into a dance studio. Don't get me started.....

Totally agree Debi. I knew about her from the day the kids were born since it was at Hershey Med. She was a greedy little shrew back then and has only gotten worse.

I forgot to mention 2 things: Never really watched Jon and Kate plus 8 but she's very pretty. I guess a lot of that 'prettiness' is bought... And, did anyone else shed a tear when they showed Shannen's dad? OMG, I lost it. She's not my fav but I believe her sincerity in doing this for her dad... and he just, well, brought me to tears. Very emotional.

Oh yeah, Buzz's wife... what the heck was that!?!

I've always liked Shannen when she was on Charmed. But I wasn't surprised when she didn't mention the show. She will always be "Prue" to me.

I'm going to look online to find out why some of the other dancers are not on the show.

Orie - Glad you mentioned Buzz's wife. She had the "wind tunnel" look. Seems like Buzz has been under the knife too.

I was disapointed with Brooke as co-host. Several years ago when she hosted the rock star show, she did a great job.

I thought Shannen's teeth looked too large and phoney. She seemed to be uncomfortable with them. I thought Brooke did a great job. I wasn't a fan of Samantha. Thought it was intersting that they saved Kate and Pam for the last two dancers. Gotta keep those viewers watching!

Wouldn't it be fun if the voting were more like the voting on Survivor? That is, for at least the first half of the season, if not longer, the votes would be for who should be booted off the show. Then, at the end, the votes would be for who should win.

That way, we'd get rid of the chaff first -- like Kate!

I'm not a DWTS or Bachelor fan but, I would have loved to have seen them have the girl who lost on as one of the women if they were going to have Jake as a contestant. (Just my perverse sense of humor)

I'm one of those flip around the dial people so I catch snippets of a lot of shows. I did catch a glimpse of Mrs. Buz and am glad someone else agrees about all the work she's had done. I also think Buz has had some work done although not as much.

I was embarrassed by the way Pamela Anderson acted. I hope she tones it down some.

As much as I would like to see Kate voted off, I really want her to stay on so I can watch her squirm! She can't handle working hard for anything, and this is probably a real eye opener for her. Plus she can't stand to be judged, and they let her have it.
