Sarschlos remodeler- The Lacanche ranges are very simple machines. There is no electronic gadgetry to worry about. A "low tech" electrician should be able to do any work the range may need. A plumber whould be able to assist with any gas issues. AC has a list of service providers with whom they've dealt. Check the link to see who is in your area. You could also call an appliance dealer in your area. I recently had a thermostat replaced in a warming cabinet. I called the electrician from the list linked below. It was a great experience. No issues. The electrician was thrilled to see how "simple" the work was! I have a Sully +2 and did not see a Lacanche IRL prior to ordering! I just went on "hearsay" from these long-running threads! I have mine just on plate wires attached directly to the sofets. DH re-did my cabinet doors in Italian curly maple. They are flat panels so I think a rail would look too top heavy. At Christmas I take them down and replace them with my Norman Rockwell Christmas tins. I also have a display of Rockwell plates on my dining room wall, come to think of it. It is a small wall. And yes at Christmas I have NR Christmas plates to exchange them for. My MIL used to put a collection of Christmas plates on plate stands on her mantle at Christmas. I always like the look it gave. There is a thread on art for the seasons. Going with the idea that less is more sometimes, I prefer to swap many of my things out as the seasons go by instead of having it all out all the time. Speaking of MIL, she had a large collection of bird plates she displayed sitting on top of her cupboards. No sofet for her. She had fashion plates in one bathroom on a wall too. Her four sons thought the plates were silly, her oldest was quite vocal about them, so for years we shopped garage sales for tourist plates and sent them to him. My in-laws both died last year and we never did find a buyer for all those plates!!

Just my 2 cents worth! I am not a daily watcher, but I do respect the good that he AND Robin do. They display a team effort and I wish that more young people would watch and learn (especially) how to raise children. I know that I have learned a whole bunch and have tried to pass along those tips to my children that are raising my grandchilddren....with fewer mistakes and better results I think. His "common sense" and non-judgemental tone and Robin's (sometimes schocked) expressions, really speak volumes... in my opinion. Her responses usually mirror mine. I do think she is a smart lady and they have raised a remarkable family (mostly before the limelight) and my guess is that they are REALLY enjoying their new found wealth and enjoy sharing with others. Some shows that I have started to watch...I have turned off....just too much Drama.

Maire, while you were at the salon I was at the massage school getting a massage. I've been going there for years, almost always with satisfactory results, but my two most recent massages haven't been the best. The name of the school has changed, and I wonder if the curriculum has, too. Anyway, I'm posting here because the student massage therapist asked me the usual questions about my preferences, but she added one I hadn't heard before. "Do you want me to do your hands and feet?" she asked, with a flicker what what appeared to be distaste crossing her face. I said yes. She gave my hands the usual amount of attention, but I can't say the same for my feet. She's going to have to deal with this if she wants to make a career out of massage therapy. I, too, enjoyed the leg massage. :-)
