Toll House Cookies -- what's the difference?

I made Toll House Cookies from the back of the Nestle's semi-sweet morsels (I hate that word, don't know why)bag. I used all butter and they came out a bit soft and bendy. Still good.

What's the difference if you use margarine or Crisco? I wouldn't use Crisco because the thought of it makes me ill, but I'd like to know what kind of cookie you get using different fats? I mean I know you get Toll House Cookies,duh, but how are they different??
