Best way to send baked goodies through mail?

I am sending off some treats to a relative through USPS, and just wondering what can be done to make sure everything tastes as fresh as possible. I was thinking of freezing it right after baking, and taking it out right before I send it so that by the time it reaches its destination it will thaw and taste fresh from the oven (well, at least as close as possible).

Any other wrapping/packaging tips? I am sending some quickbreads, cookies, peanut brittle. Thanks!
