It's Chrystal. I think the guy she'll be up against is Lee.

I thought they all sounded alike and all the songs were wrong songs.

I think it'll be Crystal and Lilly at the end. I like Lilly, don't think she's as strong as Crystal but she's good.

Either Amanda is hard headed or she simply isn't getting it. Tonight was the third time one of the judges told her to do something different and show she can actually sing. I hope she gets the message next time or gets voted off. She does hard rock really well. I don't begrudge anyone that type of music if they like it, but it isn't pop and maybe she can't do pop. I think Carly has the best voice of all the girls, but she's not entertaining at all. She better get a clue. She strikes me as someone who is not friendly with the other contestants. Brooke is our new Carly Simon. She can't win the show, but I hope she gets a recording contract. We need another like her. Will be very refreshing. Alexandrea has a fantastic voice. I like the way she glides from natural to falsetto, and she has a strong falsetto to boot. That's really rare. She is so nasal I don't know how she sings so well. Maybe she is one of the ones who had the flu. Syesha didn't do nearly as well as she is capable of. She did better when she was hoarse. LOL I wouldn't be surprised if Ramiele wins the show. All that voice with awesome control and she's a little cutie pie, too. Asia'h is so nasal it seems weird she can keep up with the words. I like the way she sings though, and she's very entertaining. I missed Naima's performance, and I wanted to hear her. I was thinking that Thia Megia had some pitch problems, but then Steven Tyler immediately said she was pitch perfect. I have a pretty good musical ear, but I'm willing to concede the argument to Steven. I wasn't thrilled with her, though. I agree that Lauren Alaina, at 16, is a complete natural. I think she'll go far in the competition. I disagreed with Jennifer's assessment that Lauren Turner (?) was holding back in her performance. I'm unfamiliar with the song she sang, but it seemed to me that she put everything into it. I also disagreed with Randy when he said Haley didn't bring anything unique to the Alicia Keys song ("Falling in and Out of Love"). I thought she really made it her own. I missed some others in the first half hour. I read that somebody sang the Fiona Apple song "Criminal," which I would have liked have heard because I like it. I liked Pia's performance. I wondered if the standing ovation was entirely in response to her song, or maybe partly inspired by the fact that she was the last singer. I thought she did a good job, though. I wasn't bored. :-) PS: How does the wild card thing work?

I don't consider Rhianna a great singer. All her songs have that echo effect which I think makes her sound better than she is. As for Mike who could have been voted off, though he's a good singer, I think they should have let him go. He doesn't bring anything different to the stage like Crystal, Casey, and that funky girl do. Everything he sings sounds the same and to me, a REAL singer, can change things up a bit. They should have saved the vote for another person, and I think they will wish they had later.

I really like Crystal, Lilly and Lee. At this point I think they could be the final 3... but we still have a long way to go.

Some of the ones I didn't like much surprised me tonight.. like Didi and the girl with the red hair (and green nails). Both did well tonight IMO.

I love Didi - her voice, her look and her personality. She's my top pick.

Tough competition for sure, though.

As far as the guys go, I like Andrew and Lee.

There is a lot of talent in those girls...and such pretty girls...Most of them seem to have the voice and looks to be "stars"...

I haven't even seen any of the guys yet...must be something else on at the same time that Denny watches.

Do the guys have as much talent?

I thought many showed improvement from last week...

I like those mentioned above, but my early favorite is still Siobhan Magnus.

There are 4 of the girls that I can see staying on for a while....Crystal, Lilly, Didi and Siobhan. As for me, we could cut the ithers right now. I'm anxious to see the guys tonight. Right now, Lee is definitely my pick of the guys.

Crystal for me is way out front, followed by Siobhan. I like Didi, I think shes quirky. She reminds me of Brooke from a couple of seasons ago, she was also quirky, IMO.
