This doesn't seem fair : (

Our dog Homer chose to live with us last year. We decided

that Homer needed a home-ette so we got a second doggy from

the rescue shelter to keep him company. We named her Etta.

Etta was assumed to be around a year old and had spent most

of her life being raised in the shelter. She had been

adopted once but the family returned her as "too energetic."

Home loves to get out with me and follow me on the 4 wheeler.

Both of them do. But Etta gets out and heads next door to

pick a fight with my Brother's dog. And they both are vicious.

Etta comes home all battered and sometimes bloody.

Yesterday my Mom tossed a pot of cold water on them and Etta

turned on her for a few seconds (I wasn't there and didn't see it).

So a decision has been made that Etta stays inside the fence.

Cindy said it is either that or send her back. And with the

walkers and joggers we have, we can't risk her attacking them.

Etta is the most affectionate dog I have ever seen. But when

she gets around other female dogs she just gets mean.

We have also decided that Homer can come out with me.

If I go out on the 4 wheeler down to the river or up to the

barn Homer can come out with me and tag along. He loves

playing with the other dogs. He's too goofy to hurt anyone.

Just doesn't seem fair to let Homer out but make Etta stay

locked up in the pen. They both get to come in the house.

But she barks so much when I'm outside and she's inside the fence.

Just doesn't seem fair.
