LOL, I am crying over here....

Eric is watching TV so I am reading the KT keeper threads. The bidet conversation has me crying- when I reached this line, Eric had to check and make sure I was okay....

I mean, if your hemorrhoids get a blast of cold water, they're going to run back inside and hide behind your ovaries to get warmed up. That could be painful.

And I am wondering if Ginger EVER got the lizard poop off of her pot lids?????

Just told Eric that is I took a "shot of NyQuil" (Just took benedryl for cough/sneeze allergy outbreak) I would be laughing so hard I would pee on myself sitting here reading all of this.

Yeah, but the plantain is all going to seed now. And I can see what happens if that's allowed... there are some vast mats of plantain babies in places where that happened earlier. I want to get them before that happens this week! Believe me, I don't want to do marathon lawn weeding either. I have a 1000 sf veg garden and lots of perennial beds I already have to stay on top of :(

Hmmmm...........anutter maybe! Yes, it could be squash....seed would have to have been deposited by birds...no vegie gardeners in the area and although I've grown squash before, I don't have the room for it yet. Guess I'll know shortly if it begins to flower. We had ONE squash plant in Denver that covered over 140 sf....they were coming out our ears! So naturally sweet....hope it's Butternut. Thanks guys....we'll see!

Hello! I hang in houseplants sometimes too, alot to learn over there! I think hoyas are pretty easy by comparison! Do you mean vines when you say strings? If so, sure you can cut them off, but you do take the risk of losing a vine that would potentially put out peduncles/buds. I usually just leave them be, I like the way they look, they add to the charactor of the plant...or u could wrap them around so they are no so obvious or in the way. If you don't like the bare look of the vines, keep in mind they usually do get leaves... eventually. As for repotting, hoyas can stay for years and years in small pots, and this is actually recommended for them. As they get more potbound you may have to water more or ocassionally top dress with some fresh soil, but the general rule is, the smaller the pot the better!

I remind myself of a letter I saw in Dear Abby one time, where someone asked, "What is wrong with me? I would cry at the opening of a new K Mart." :)) The thing about it is, I never cry in my own life...you know how people say they can't stop crying and don't know why. I don't cry. I am fairly stoic about many things, but I cried like a baby when I saw the Budweiser Clydesdales and I used to cry just seeing my daughter marching in a parade when she was in school and when she graduated. I will tear up over a cute baby or a pet. I do get depressed for days over cruelty to animals. Some things I just cannot stand at all. But, I don't usually cry about it. Maybe if I did, I would get over it faster. I dunno.

OMG! Dottie was an amazing story teller!!

RIP Dottie..you are one special lady.

In the old days here...I would be up until 2-3 in the morning as we would be partying at the KT. You couldn't read and refresh fast enough.

We also need a new "Lucy Moments".

I still wish I could find the Tickle Me Elmo thread form the household disasters forum way back in the late 1990s. I did not have my own computer then but printed the thread out at work. The paper copy eventually disintegrated. Oh, my was it FUNNY!

I was just thinking about how much fun we used to have here.....remember Pat Lavender and FrancEs?
Loved Marlon's posts, especially about celebrating 4th of July.

I miss the good old days when we had regularly scheduled chats, twice a week. DH told friends and family that I couldn't be disturbed cuz I was at a "hen party".

It hurts that so many wonderful friends have left the table because of a few mean-spirited people. I guess their mothers never told them "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything"...or they never learned the Golden Rule.

I'm staying right here, and hope that someday the bad guys will leave and the good guys will come back.

I remember when I was about 8, my parents decided to move and took me house-hunting. One of the houses had a toilet and a bidet, right next to each other. I couldn't figure it out.
