Oh yes, everytime my boys go back to Kentucky, I cry for a while. Guess it's the stress leading up to the leaving. Don't worry, it's good for you!

I can NOT go to a wedding or funeral without crying...I don't even have to KNOW the people (DH's co-workers parents/kids) and I am bawling like a baby!!!

I tear up on commercials...don't even ask about sad movies!!! I really REALLY worry when the kids get married...I want a small wedding so not so many people see their silly weeping mama!!! "/

I always cried when I saw the bus coming back home ......

I understand. Times like that I do it too. When I get mad sometimes I even cry! LOL That torks me off worse then!
Its a long way for her to go, plus the fact that you are so proud of her and love her so much is what did it I bet.

PS Sandy a bit of advice for your DD's weddings when it comes, bite the inside of your lip!(hard!) Gives ya something else to think about! :) I did it when the first DD got married everytime I had the urge to well up!

Yes, I cry much easier now that menopause is upon me. I cry over people I don't know, too! LOL

think i would, too! first because i'd miss my dgds, and second 'cause they're so grown up to be so responsible...

Yup, I cry over everything. All I have to do is see a perfect stranger crying, and there I go, pretty much like a yawn. Or seeing or hearing of a kind act. Anything, I tell ya.

I cry over anything; commercials, movies, songs, any wedding, any funeral, newspaper stories, etc. haha! I'm a sap too!

I should not watch the Westminster dog show....I cry at the Pedigree commercials. They really get the message across.

I cried at all four of my kids' graduations. The three girls forbid any crying, but too bad! My son, oddly enough, wasn't embarrassed and made sure to introduce me to all his classmates.

Another time in front of his closest friends, DS told me "I love you" before they left to go out to eat. He is not embarrassed to speak his emotions in front of people.

Just about the only time I cry is when the kids or grands do something, like leave my house. :)

I was pretty weepy at DS's wedding last year. But to my friends' dismay, I never cry at movies.

I cry at weddings,funerals baptisims and all graduations.
I swear each time I go to one of these events,that I'm going to act cool and poised,but somewhere during each ceremony I turn into a blubbering idiot.
My kids are quite use to it now and expect it.Ok here goes mom again...bring on the kleenex.
I cried my eyes out after each of my four children were born...joy or sadness,it's all the same...here comes the waterworks...LOL

I'd worry if you didn't cry.
In my eyes it is perfectly natural but then, I have not problems hiding such emotions in public.

I use to cry when my kiddo's were participating in sports. I was so proud of them. I cryed when they won and cryed when they lost.

I was surprised I didn't cry when my Daughter got married. I guess it was the stress of all the plans. But, I cryed the day she tried on her first Wedding Dress, but then she started crying too. LOL!

I didn't cry at all when my Grandmother died, but I burst into fits of tears a few weeks later when my cat died.

I am a very emotional person, I cry at anything. I have cried when someone
close to me opens a gift from me, at weddings and of course funerals.
At my oldest daughter's high school graduation, I did not cry I sobbed!!!
So, I would have to say that I cry over the craziest times of my life.

I cry at commercials, I cry at movies, I cry at weddings, funerals, you name it I cry. There used to be this AT&T commercial where this woman was sitting at the kitchen table crying, her husband walks in and says what's wrong? She says..Joey called...the husband looks worried....He called just to say I love you Mom ...that was a killer...and Hallmark commercials they get me.And I also cry if I get really mad, and that makes me madder. I refuse to watch that house makeover show with TY. I know I would ball my eyes out. LOL

If I cry in public it would probably be in anger so you'd best run.

I tear-up privately over cruelty to or loss of animals, pain and injury to others, the loss of a young life and other sad moments.

The only exception is childbirth. I totally tear-up when watching babies being born on tv.

I don't cry at happy occasions like weddings, graduations,leaving for college,going off on an adventure,leaving the nest etc. Never understood that. I don't cry at funerals either. I may mourn someone in private but not at funerals. But then in order to attend a funeral it has to be someone I really felt close to. I don't go just because I knew someone, it has to be more.

Oh yah. Put me in line with the other crying people. Weddings, funerals, births, commercials, songs. I'm a big crybaby. Just softhearted I guess.

I remind myself of a letter I saw in Dear Abby one time, where someone asked, "What is wrong with me? I would cry at the opening of a new K Mart." :))

The thing about it is, I never cry in my own life...you know how people say they can't stop crying and don't know why. I don't cry. I am fairly stoic about many things, but I cried like a baby when I saw the Budweiser Clydesdales and I used to cry just seeing my daughter marching in a parade when she was in school and when she graduated. I will tear up over a cute baby or a pet. I do get depressed for days over cruelty to animals. Some things I just cannot stand at all.
But, I don't usually cry about it. Maybe if I did, I would get over it faster. I dunno.

I should add to my earlier post, I am like Marilyn, a die-hard stoic. I never cry, except at those pet commercials and emotional news reports. But never in front of anyone, ever. Oh, and more than a few posts here at KT have made me tear up. And laugh out loud.

And DS dropped me off at work with an "I love you Mumma" today. (Don't ask about the forced car pooling. DH had better fix his vehicle soon. It is not entertaining to be over an hour early at work and have to piddle around for an hour and a half after work. I'd rather be home "piddling") GRRRRRRR!!!!!!
