I might get a table for the kitchen, the one in the picture is actually a desk with some electrical equipment in it. So I don't want to put it in the kitchen. I really like the orange or a pale blue as well! I saw an apartment with similar design to my condo and they had a light blue accent. It worked well, though I really like that orange... I'm definitely thinking the same thing about the rug. I'm going to keep an eye out for one, and for some redone sleeper sofas per april's suggestion. I haven't seen them before, but if I can find one that would be perfect. As for the position of the TV, I'm not sure which I like more. Part of the reason that I have it on the wall I do is that you can view it while making food in the kitchen as well. I've gone back and forward myself with it. I could really use some suggestions for the bedroom everyone, it's so white and bland currently :/.

I guess it doesn’t have to be a set, but I have trouble piecing things together. For instance, I love these nightstands, but would have no idea what kind/color of dresser to pair them with (https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/mercury-row-marotta-1-drawer-end-table-mcrr1788.html?piid=14938149). Also, it’s hard for me to go to second hand shops because my place is contemporary and most of the stuff there is traditional. I’m not against shopping at Wayfair, I actually just bought this bed frame for my master bedroom on Wayfair (https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/three-posts-borchers-upholstered-panel-bed-thre3811.html?piid[0]=16393916&piid[1]=20295002). My fear with Wayfair is I don’t want to have to completely assemble a dresser and nightstands from scratch.

We love mountain modern homes, especially bedrooms. The white duvet is perfect with the dark walls and Pendleton blanket; adding lighting pieces through bedding and artwork will help brighten the space and provide contrast for the walls. As far as art for the room goes, you can keep it neutral to let the blanket shine or add more dimension and color to balance the blanket. In this room, we added art that was more colorful than the rest of the room, but because it stands alone, it shines: A more subtle and modern option: You can also add visually interesting light fixtures, especially any that will pop against the darker paint of your room: The colors and textures you have here are already a beautiful starting point. Regardless of forever home or not it would make sense to utilize the closet better for all of your 'office' stuff so if that means getting an outlet put in there so the printer and all your stuff on the tall shelving can go in there - that would be wise. Then, daybed or not, replace the tall shelving and nightstand with a continuous low closed storage furniture piece - maybe like this photo - this will open up the room visually. This furniture piece can function as a nightstand and office storage. Closed storage is your friend in this space. Replacing the closet doors with slider doors would allow for the 'office' to function easier. Maybe the inside of the closet is converted to half 'closet' for guests use and half 'office' with shelves for printer and office supplies. Then, once you decide on daybed or not I'd repost an updated photo and we can help with rearranging art. I think where you have it now is not doing the room any justice. I could see it consolidated/edited on the wall where the tall shelving is as that will create a focal point.
