I liked it as well, having lived in Dallas for a long time and now in Houston, I can relate LOL

It looks like it will be funny there are some good actors in it.

It was ok, I think Annie Potts is the best part by far and watched it for her. She's a hoot.

Having lived in Dallas for many years I found it to be right on point! LOL Potts was a hoot, and the gal across the street was too. Can see the future between the two being a riot!

I watched it but found that the background music was so loud that it was a real effort to hear what they were saying. Did anyone else find it hard to hear and understand all of what they were saying?

If it continues to be so hard to hear and understand, I won't enjoy watching it. I was at a friend's house and wondered if it might have just been the TV or something.

No I did not even notice the music at all, other than the singing in church.

I had seen it mentioned earlier on TV, and thought it was ABC, but it was not listed on my newspaper TV schedule, so I blamed it on my memory, again. So I didn't see it.

When I watch anything on ABC, I have to turn the volume up very high. I gave up on DH because it wasn't worth the effort, especially with Bree, because it seemed like she whispered most of the time anyway. No big loss. The only things I like on ABC are Shark Tank and 20/20 anyway.

I wonder if the ABC/volume problem is because I have DISH TV. Is that a DISH problem? It is only on ABC.

Well the TV I was watching at my friend's house seemed to have the volume surrounding me, though it wasn't running through any speakers other than what was on the TV, which is a bigger newer one than mine. Maybe I just don't adapt so well to being surrounded by sound.

We were watching GCB via just an outside antennae...no satellite.

I wasn't crazy about the show. I used to like Dallas and thought it would something like it. I just don't get Texas customs. The culture is so different from where I live, it's like another country.

I watched most of it online. Don't think I'll watch again, too contrived for me. I thought Kristin Chenoweth looked horrible, very thin and leathery. I think she looks way-older than the other women that she supposedly went to high school with.

Ditto Sleeperblues. I'm a Chenoweth fan, and was surprised and disappointed to see her looking like that. I'd rather watch the YouTube videos of her singing.

Well, I was born in NC, have lived in Texas, and also in Tennessee, and I have Cajun relatives. A few of my words may sound a little "different." Terilynn. I think we could have a good chat!

About the ABC sound problem: I was at my DGS's on Sunday. They live just 4-5 miles from me, but their TV is Comcast and they have the same sound problem I have, so it isn't a DISH problem.

terilyn we lived in Memphis for many years too so I bet we talk a lot a like LOL!! I love hearing all the various dialects from not only in the US but other countries. I try to guess where they are from and then they have to guess where I am from. Which just is not fair because I have lived in areas with major dialects so I am just a virtual mixing pot of them. When I am back home in Louisiana however the strong Cajun just comes creeping on out. LOL

We have direct tv and on certain stations I have noticed the volume is much louder than others enough so that I have to grab the remote and either turn up or down when going between them.

For a variety of reasons, I had to record the last 5 or 6 episodes, which I finally watched last night.

I liked this show, a lot!

I'm really disappointed this show has been cancelled without any resoultion to the cliffhangers.
