I have heard of Bar Keepers Friend, but not Bar Tenders.

I like Bar Keepers Friend and keep it on hand and have for over 50 years, near 60 I guess.

I love my Bar Keepers Friend! Sinks, stainless steel pots and pans, mildew on tubs/showers....Rust spots on most anything, stained countertops....but not on granite.

I use it all the time. As well as being very effective, it's cruelty free and environmentally friendly, if you care about that sort of thing. It also works really well to remove hard water stains from glass shower doors. I second the gloves though, the oxalic acid is really hard on the skin.

Does it have strong fumes?

yep used the Bar keepers for years my Mom used it.

Katlan, it is a powder like Comet. etc. No fumes and it does a great job.

I have never had to wear gloves when I use it, it does not seem to bother me. If you have a rusty spot on some of your white clothes, just have the fabric wet and put some Bar Keepers Friend on it and let set, later wash and it should come out.

Duhhh...a senior moment...(happens when you are 82)...it is Bar Keepers...

We used to use it on our boat for stains that nothing else would remove.

BKF is a wonderful cleaner. I use it for porcelain sinks in my house. Takes all those ugly black marks right off. Of course, each and every time I recommend it...I always have a line of naysayers telling me how baking soda works just as well....I beg to differ! HA!

I've never seen it in Canada until last year, when our local Hardware Store had it on special. Because of the raves about it, I bought a container.

I had just picked up some stainless steel skillets from Freecycle and they had burned on stains on the outside and inside. I scrubbed them with BKF and they came out looking like new!

BKF uses oxalic acid, which is mild but can burn your skin. No fumes that I'm aware of. Just wear gloves. It comes in 2 forms-scouring powder and a liquid in a squeeze-type plastic bottle.

I started using Bar Keeper's Friend in the early 1980s. It wasn't available in my area, so my brother sent it to me from Texas. It is wonderful! My favorite cleaning products are Bar Keeper's Friend, Awesome, and Magic Erasers.

Bark Keeper's Friend was recommended when I purchased a Silgranit sink to go with my new granite countertops in 2008. I'd never heard of it before but use it regularly now. It's super.

Is this made by the same company that makes Bon Ami? I seem to remember seeing the two yellow cans side by side on store shelves. I've used Bon Ami for decades. Unlike Comet or Ajax, it won't scratch surfaces.

Bon Ami useds to have an illustration of a little yellow chick, with the slogan,
"Hasn't scratched yet".
