Wow thanks to online shopping...........

I am sooooo bored....even though I think I woul dhave felt up for a trip to target or walmart lately just to Look......with whatever bug I have now I dont'....but at least I can sit in my bed and see what they have out for spring...and then check out the clothes I will be needing to get the kids for spring and summer.....I am so sick of being sick and worn out! Online therapy is great - I use it for winter gardening when the snow falls.

We have one now on Long Island. But 15 years ago, I discovered them on Cape Cod. They had (have?), like, one in each town. We would take the kids camping up there for a week each summer and I would plan all our recreation (mini-golf, beach visits, etc)to be near a shop! My kids would groan - - oh no, not ANOTHER Christmas tree Shoppe. The quality there has sure gone down hill in recent years but certain garden stuff is great and well priced. I have grown successfully all of the following purchased there: Seeds (tons), Dahlia tubers,Glads, Wisterias vines, roses. Before we finally got irrigation (the day that changed my life - just you wait newbies - watering beds of seedlings takes time!)I swore by their cheap sprinkler hoses. Left them in the beds and then ran the hose over with a quick connect fitting. Anyway, you brought back may fond memories with your excitement about Christmas Tree Shoppes. Enjoy!

Harry & David's have these delicious Royal Riviera pears. For $29.95 you get 9 of the biggest, juiciest pears. I can't even describe how incredibly sweet they are. They're beautiful, too with a reddish blush on them. I hope we get some again this year. They are huge so nine pears goes a long way. They have free shipping right now, too. At least in the catalog. Hey, they're grown and shipped from the US, too! And, if you prefer, they'll ship direct to the giftee (is that a word?). No, I don't work for them--lol!

Thanks Fun2BHere! Its amazing how non-user friendly some door hardware sites are. If you click on an item for more info and click back you have to start all over, site doesn't take you to where you left off. If you find an entry styte you like and click on the page...why don't they show at the bottom of that page other options in the same brand and style such as a matching dummy to the set, OR anything in that catagory? If just a dummy handle shows up on a site why dont they show the matching non-dummy somewhere on the page when you click on it? This is going to take foreverrrrrrrr. Don't get me started on trying to find a way to order a different finish on the interior part of the knob/handle in the same catagory, style and brand. I'm thinking I need a knowlegeable customer service person who I can send an inspirational photo too and he/she can guide me.

Agree online shopping for clothing and furniture is dreadful. Luckily with clothing I live near a mall where I can make returns, as 90% go back this is a necessity. Do not order from stores that I can not return locally. I am also very distressed by the low quality of clothing. Even doubling my budget does not improve the quality. Last week I went to the mall trying to spend money on new tops and shorts, shopped the entire mall came home with nothing. Either junky or did not like the fit. Just looking for basic shorts that are not cargo shorts. Talbots quality is usually good, but finding items that I like can be difficult. The fit can also be off. Recently ordered shorts, fit well though my waist and hips but the legs were way to wide and the style would not alter well. Back they go:(.

Well I am thinking tomorrow is the day....a day trip to St. Joe hit Targt Old Navy and Dillards and for lunch the rib place I can't think of the name for there sting onion fries and a glass of wine.....I think I will be ready...Will let you know...Stacy

Stacy...I know you are getting antsy..and want to get going...But please believe me...It takes a good 4 months to feel like yourself. Some people take longer.

Don't over do....I think the trip home was harder on your than you thought and is probably why you've been so sick.

Those viruses and bugs will hit you when you are down.

Please don't push things....Let your body heal...I got out nearly every day...but if I felt myself getting tired I sat down and rested or went home (actually my daughter would take me home...she wouldn't let me go out by myself) Besides...when the doctor said no driving...he wasn't kidding.

Cool your heels girl...and rest up...You'll be glad you did

LOL well as luck would have it....Brian had to take my tahoe today so I won't be going even if I wanted...but really can't because the antibiotics are working on me now also.....grrrrr....Okay I am going to try this p thig (patience) and cool my heels as you say Patti....and go back to the online stores....course I am tired this morning a nap sounds wonderful already! LOL Stacy
