Who had those amazingly beautiful industrial looking marine(ish) lights over their island? It wasn't all that long ago. Hate when I can't remember anything... They were round, I think they had them tilted in the picture. And they were absolutely fabulous.

Industrial lighting is so in vogue that you can find industrial style lights in nearly any store or company that sells lights. Lowe's and Home Depot even now have industrial-style pendant lights. In addition to Barn Light Electric, School House Electric (my fave in the bunch) and Rejuvenation Hardware sell a variety of industrial-style lights (not to mention FH and PB).

For a great selection of antique and restored industrial lights, PW Vintage lighting in Great Barrington MA is a great resources. They have a useful website.

Tearose21's GW kichen was one of my inspiration kitchens,
(although much fancier than mine -- one can dream!).

His/her kitchen features a pretty classic 2000-2010 use of 'industrial style' pendants by Hudson Valley.
We've seen this style of 'industrial lighting' a lot on GW and throughout the shelter mag world in the past five years.
