I had a big buffet lunch, so dinner was a black bean salad w/ tortilla chips, and some hard-boiled eggs on the side. :) I didn't photograph the salad but should have! so pretty... made with what I had, so red & green bell peppers, jalapeno, mixed tropical fruit, and green onions, dressed w/ lime juice. The eggs were made this morning -- the Polish way. A basic color test run :)

Pam, we generally eat around 5. Today was super easy, threw the ziti in the microwave! Laura, don't ever worry about posting meals, a number of us have breakfast for dinner and that kind of thing. Less-than exotic meals! LOL Sue, I thought your meal was so good, real comfort food. Then I read "tv dinner". Too funny. Raven, Can you ship me some of your leftovers??? Ribs and brussels sprouts. Oh yummy. Laura we like tuna casserole, I make a roux and put hot sauce in, and peas. Gotta have peas in mine. Pam we like grilled pork chops better than steak! Are your potatoes on the grill as well? Lately I've been cutting the potatoes in slices and grilling them that way.

Warmer here today - around 86. Because of all the rain over the last couple of days, it was very humid. I was so glad to see the sun! Our summer has been cooler than normal. I don't remember a 100 degree day so far. It was cooler than normal last year too. We went out for Mexican tonight. Had a delicious carne asada.

Walnutcreek (so good to see you again!) and Shirley, sometimes microwaved dinners are just the thing! OF, I enjoy raking leaves and shovelling snow. Hubby had ice cream for dessert, but that doesn't interest me at this time of year. I'm glad to see you eating a sandwich of sorts, instead of your usual Coke, Deeby :-) I'm planning on having a stir-fry this week Rhizo. Thanks for the reminder. Angela, your post made me laugh!
