Funny. Those are three I looked at over and over again along with Bianco Antico. Those black slashes in the Ice Blue remind of something sinister. I've never seen Lennon leathered, but it looks cool. The White Springs is quieter than the others. Do you want busier or quieter? Do you have pics of each of these with your cab sample?

You'll probably be glad you have a different granite in the kitchen than you do in your bathroom. My fabricator said it's nice, especially for women, to not walk into your bath where you're supposed to be escaping from the world and see the same stone you stare at for hours in the kitchen while you're busy working. She sold me.

I like White Spring a lot, with Lennon a good second. As breezygirl said, it depends on your cabinets and preference for quiet or busier granite. Good luck! Petra

I liked White Springs when I looked too. I like the contrast with your cabinet. Lennon is nice but I'd vote for White Springs. It is quieter if you will. Have fun, I loved picking the granite.

White Springs is my first choice.

I prefer the White Spring as well, but Im always drawn to a more uniform pattern.

Thank you all so much for your opinions! Whenever I ask my husband he says "looks good to me" or "whatever you like is fine with me" :) Not much help when you are agonizing over choices. I was a little worried about the busyness of the Lennon or Ice Blue and do prefer a more unified look. I was drawn toward the White Spring as well. The sample you see with the White Spring is actually my flooring sample. My cabinets arrived this week! They are a seashell white. I do love the all white kitchen look but do you think that the seashell cabs will go with the White Springs?

The only way to know for sure is to have both the granite and cab next to each other (either bring a sample of the stone home or a sample piece of cab or cab door to hold up next to the stone (just be very careful not to ding or scrape if you bring an actual door!). You want to make sure they work together and don't fight each other.

From the pics, I think they would look great together! Soothing, comforting and very welcoming.

I think it would look really nice. Your cabinet looks like a creamy white and it should look great. I have cream color cabinets with a delicatus look alike callled vintage. I get compliments all the time. Your cabinet door is beautiful. I hope you will post when you finish.

Spring even more. Your Seashell cabs are gorgeous.
Of course I wish I could see them in person. I just have
a hunch they are perfect together.

What are you doing for a backsplash?

What are the floors going to be?

Have you thought about hardware?
Appliances? Lighting? Will you have undercab lighting?

It does not matter the above questions. I still love the
combo, I am just getting excited about your beautiful
kitchen coming together.

Boxer - I haven't decided on a backsplash yet but I am thinking simple subway tiles, maybe glass or a crackle. Hardware isn't picked yet either. I would love suggestions on what would look good with our cabs.

The floors are a medium tone maple. Appliances are all stainless Kitchenaid (my dishwasher is about a million years old so I am looking soooo forward to a new DW). Undercabinet lighting and recessed lighting, 2 9" pendants over the island and a smaller version over the sink (Kraus 32" and Hansgrohe faucet).

I cannot wait to see it all put together, we're getting closer :)

Laur66 - All three are beautiful. With first glance I was drawn to the white spring, but I also think the warm taupe accents in the lennon would be fantastic as well. I love the ice blue, don't think it looks sinister :), but a bit dramatic and it sounds like you are looking for something soothing. You are looking at some great stone, good luck.

From the photos- I personally love the movement and subtle colors and depth of the White Springs, but it is hard to know for sure from a photo. I would bring in a cabinet door and put it next to the slabs to be sure how they coordinate first, of course. I do have one bit of general advice, especially when trying to select a LIGHT colored granite(from someone's who's learned the hard way):
MAKE SURE YOU CAN FIND A TILE FOR YOUR BACKSPLASH THAT LOOKS GOOD WITH BOTH YOUR GRANITE AND CABINETS BEFORE YOU BUY THE GRANITE!!!
I have Harvest Cream Granite (like Colonial Cream without the rusty streaks)and I am having such a hard time finding the right color tile (and I am very open to either a stone or ceramic). White tile or marble is too white next to it (makes the granite look dirty or ivory), white travertine looks beige next to the granite and doesn't seem to go at all, some tiles look too grey, others too ivory, next to the granite! If I use a more golden stone to pick up the golden veins running through the granite, it is too close to the color of my honey-spice cabinets and not pleasing at all. etc. The color of my granite seems to change in different lights and at different angles, too, making it even harder to decide. I am assuming you want a light-colored backsplash (for most of the backsplash, at least). I think that folks with darker granite countertops have an easier time finding backsplash tiles--any light color will provide a nice contrast and they don't have to worry so much about trying to match the exact shade or white or cream in the granite. So you might want to hold some tile samples up to both the granite and the cabinets to help you decide. HTH

The only problem with picking the back splash tile before the granite is you have no real idea what the granite is going to look like laying flat on your cabinets, it may vastly change your back splash selection once the granite is installed.

I think its best to have the granite installed THEN pick out your back splash.

I find the Ice Blue to be very chip-choppy. Reminds me of Stracciatella gelato. I love the first one, but I don't gravitate towards the super quiet granites. That would not be enough contrast on white cabs for me.

Just for the record, I didn't mean to suggest that you should actually purchase the backsplash tile before the granite is installed (pricepal is so right that the granite may have a different look once it is actually installed in your kitchen, with your lighting, being horiz., etc.)--I just meant that you could bring a couple of sample tiles you like along when you select the slabs as just another tool to help you decide. It is just another factor that I think is important to consider, esp. with light granite, as the "whiteish" part of the granite may really be, for instance, too gray to look good with those bright white subway tiles you want, or too yellow to look good with the pinkish beige tumbled marble you like, or whatever. You can't know for sure, of course until it is installed, but I think you can get a pretty good idea. HTH
