I read that Kathy Lee will co-host the fourth hour. On the "regular" Today Show I like Meredith a lot, but that whole fourth hour has little appeal for me. It's like a different show entirely.

I like Meredith, but Kathy Lee... :(

I seldom watch much of the Today Show any more. I did watch Matt's interview last week about the two girls mixed up in the wreck. That was a good series of interviews.

I enjoy Meredith and Matt. But, not Kathy Lee. I'll keep giving it a shot.

Never did care for Kathy Lee, and I still don't. Won't be watching that 4th hour.

I just love Meredith, but I agree with you BD. She seems to be having a hard time finding her slot on Today and doesn't look comfortable. I wish she'd stayed on The View.

I don't mind Kathy Lee, but that 4th hour is when The View is on---haha!

I have never been too interested in Kathy Lee, either. I also loved Meredith on the View. She was my favorite but for some reason she has no backbone on the Today Show. DH likes Good Morning America and I guess I'm becoming a fan. They all seem to really like each other on GMA and that's fun to watch.

Four hours of the Today Show is three hours too much, IMO. It's a constant barrage of "do this, don't do that", "be careful of this, watch out for that". "Here's an expert's opinion, but on the other hand, here's an expert that disagrees with that expert." Their couch just keeps getting bigger and bigger to accomodate all the hosts and their guests with opinions, advice or stories to tell.

On and on it goes (usually without me...LOL!)

Hear her "baby" Cody is off to college, so maybe she's matured more!

I am one of those that never watches the Today show. I like Good Morning America and the way that they get along and work together has a really good feeling. Plus 2 hours is long enough for a morning show. I couldn't believe when Today went to 3 hours now 4 hours. Who wants to watch the same thing for 4 hours everyday. It should be a morning show not a mini-series.

Stacie

I'm a GMA kinda gal.like everyone on their.Everyone seems so down to earth and not phony.
Kathi

I love GMA. They all really like each other. Matt Lauer was in my daughters graduating class in high school. I liked Meredith on the View,

I read where Kathy lee is coming there and I too said nope I am a GMA fan but would sometimes switch but don't see my channel flipping it that way anymore....Stacy

Hi eveyone, I don't post here much but I just have to say "WHAT ARE THEY THINKING HIRING KATHY LEE GIFFORD"? I love Meredith and Matt but OMG Kathy Lee!!! She is the most smug, arrogant, stuck-up, conceited b___h IÂve ever seen. Nobody I know can stand her. Just wonder why the network would take the risk. Needless to say, I won't be watching!

I do watch the today show in the mornings, and bringing on K.L.G doesn't bother me cause, by the time she comes on, I'm on to other things. I can't watch anything for two hours, much less four. Thats why I lose interest in some of the shows like celeb apprentice , DWTS, ect, when they are on for two hours. As for Gifford, she turned me off when swhe was on with Regis and tried to come off as a holier than thou person. She started going with Frank G while he was still married, and her continual yak about ther kids like she was the only person in the universe who ever had children. JMO Dottie

I gave up on the network morning shows years ago. Our local Fox affiliate has a 'Good Day' show (I think most do) that covers local news, local weather and traffic and stories of local interest. They do stories on local (and national) politics, local sports (pro, semi-pro, college and high school) visit schools, do recipes, etc. A lot of the news is positive stuff you don't get elsewhere

I like it a lot better than the national shows that are mostly about stuff that doesn't mean much to me. And the hosts and reporters are fun, local people who are interesting to watch. If there is an important national breaking news issue, of course, they break into the national feed.

Maybe there's an alternative like that for some?

Ill never forget with regis and lee she would always say when a caller or guest would say Frank shed say thats my man.when I heard he had an affair I couldnt wait to see how she was gonna explain that one.I also knew she wasnt gonna leave him because hes got money.she loved the money.Thats all she ever talked about house,Frank and kids.

Couldn't get Regis & Kathy turned off fast enough. As for The View...I agree with an elderly male neighbor who says "Reminds me of a chicken house full of cackling hens!"

Not that it will do any good, but I wrote the Today show telling them how in the past I really liked and respected all of their anchors. I also told them that I was a loyal viewer but that I will never watch the fourth hour again.

I never like Kathy Lee. She got on my nerves when she was with Regis on another channel. And I wish Meredith was back on The View. I liked her better than any of "the replacements".

Don't see any of 'em.

I guess that I could, " ... care less ... " ... but not much.

What does "DWTS" mean?

o j

DWTS======Dancing With The Stars.

I never watch those morning shows but I do remember liking her the few times I did. I thought you all were talking about that other Kathy(I think her name is) who has a foul mouth and is on the comedy channel I think.

That's Kathy Griffin, Minnie. She used to be kind of funny until she went off the deep end............

I like Meredith but I don't sit and watch the first 3 hours. That's like watching a long movie. I go past the tv as I do things but that last hour never had a chance opposite The View.

I enjoy Hot Topics - wish that's what they did 90% of the time.

Don't have time to watch it at all but I wouldn't with Kathy Lee for sure. I couldn't stand her on Regis.....she was forever talking about her kids and it got really old. I hated the way she sucked up to Regis and now Kelly seems to do it too...I can't watch her anymore since she's been on his show because of it. I did love Meriteth on the view...wish she was still there. I don't watch that anymore either...just not what it used to be before Rosie, that's when I lost interest in the show and never went back.
