Peter: It is a whole other world taking pics like that during the day. My friend is trying to figure that out although he gets some great cloud formations before and after the storms. Nice work. I hope to see more pics by you. Jojo: I have heard the monsoons can be quite dramatic! I have even seen the storm drains dug all around the outskirts of peoples home but never saw them fill up. I can only imagine that. I have seen lightning from a distance and been very frustrated chasing them because the roads there a long and straight with no way to turn down another for miles to catch up to it..lol Been there done that. Have you ever seen lightning drop from the clouds over the prairies or horizon? It must be majestic! It is nice to meet Peter. It is always nice to see new faces. I would never come there without visiting some very nice people here if the offer is there. Going there to see people I know would be so nice. We would have to visit the Indian Reservations though, Saguaro Cactus Preserve, and look for turquoise jewelry..lol I have danced with the Navaho tribes once before! I hope many others come here with nice pictures. I would of loved to have sene the hail storm ones that some here have experienced! Mike

AB, I wish I could've witnessed the guy in the red suit as he first tried to get into da plane. That would've been just as amusing. Poor guy, getting himself into a dither in front of an entire town. And talk about horse power. Those elegant creatures added an element of beauty and magic to the occasion. But, my favorite picture is the one where Bud's built-up anticipation finally becomes reality. I hope Santa gave him a great big, reassuring hug. Sol

Thanks Claire. I was pretty happy with the way the framing and contrast turned out, but me and/or my camera didn't quite capture the true golden hue that the glow of the sunset had.

You will be having scapes nd I will be looking for re-bloom, if that. That makes it nice to have posters from different areas because it extends the season in a way.Thank you all for looking and posting. Wall of Fire just lights up everything. Rumble in the Jungle is new for me, but I like it. Cosmic Kaleidoscope has always pleased me, but this is the best clump I have had. Sherry, I liked that one, and I am not eure the photo shows the delicate look of that center. David, you will be posting when mine are over...different areas extend the season in a way, don't they?
