How do I change this?

My daughter sent me a picture; however, when I went to print it, I received this message: "The following image will be rendered at less than 150dpi at the requested print size." I'm trying to print it at about 3.5" x 4.5". I printed it & sure enough, it's not totally fine. I changed it in the the properties to 300dpi, but that didn't correct the photo. Most of the time I have no problem, but occasionally this has happened & I do not know how to fix the problem. How do I change it?

Have your daughter send you the photo again as it came straight out of the camera and try to figure out what the resolution is. It will be a large file unless she used a smaller option in her camera menu and depending on what mp camera she used. If it is too large, it might not go through email, depends on just how large.

If she took the photo at one of the smaller sizes/low resolution, you are pretty much stuck. If the data isn't there, it just isn't there.

Large photos sometimes can't make it through emails, so you either have to post them on a hosting site for download or use Yousendit which is supposed to be pretty reliable.

You really don't give us enough info to help you. If you don't have a graphic editor, irfanview is free. http://www.irfanview.com/

Click on your Houzz in the top right hand corner. It will take you to a page like this. Click on edit profile and the screen will show User name Email First name (publicly displayed) What you type in the first name box is what will show as your screen name. Hope this helps!

is there something different about this can light? Or does it it have a cover/diffuser? Normal can lights you just turn off the light, make sure the bulb isnt hot, then unscrew the bulb and screw in the new one. If you prefer you can turn off the circuit breaker before you start.

If I understand correctly... The only difference between a .jfif and a .jpg is the extension. Sort of like a .jpg is the same as a .jpeg. No conversion is needed. Or desired since you can lose resolution unnecessarily. On the left is a sample .jfif image. On the right is a copy of the same image with the extension changed to .jpg. The image on the left is not accepted by the gardenweb uploader. The image on the right is accepted. The only thing changed is the extension. The .jfif image uploads fine after the extension changed to .jpg:
