Heres my bedding - What color would you paint the walls?
Comments (19)I think that the color in the picture is gorgeous, but that a paler shade of the same thing...a softer, dustier one...would give you more the effect you want. Take a close look at the picture, and you see that the bit closest to the camera, with reflected sunlight on it, seems closer to what you might like than the way it looks up in the corner, where you see that it's actually quite deep. Reds always seem stronger on the wall than on the chip...I would suggest that you take a look at these Duron colors (it's the only fandeck I have at hand just now...teach me to lend those out!) SW 6324-Mellow Coral SW 6325 Constant Coral SW 6332 Coral Island SW 6347 Chrysanthemum ...and see if any of them interest you. They are all more flower-pot colored than pink, and have a soft earthy quality to them that I think would work for you?...See MoreApple or Pear Green bedding? I have a Palisade Blue room & would
Comments (5)I really like the idea of the pear green, especially. I think it will look pretty with the blue. Any limey or pale green will look nice with yellow undertones. I wouldnt go to the sagey side, but the olivey color in the marimeko (sp) might be nice as long as there is some white in the bedding too. Comments (5)I would not do an accent wall. That's trend that's passed, and there is rarely a good reason for one. With that color of carpet I would avoid colored walls. A warm white would be a good choice, which will give you great leeway with color in your decor....See MoreWhat would you do to lighten up room. Painting walls is not an option
Comments (8)You do have alot of light in this room. I love the pics and suggestions everyone has posted. It is a large room with all the wrong furniture. The ceiling is beautiful and it would be awful to paint it. I too own a log cabin and there never seems to be enough lighting. Without white ceiling or white walls light does not reflect. It just seems to get absorbed and the larger the room the more difficult it is to light. Are the ceiling fans necessary? Do you have central air? What is your climate like? If you find that you dont use them can you switch them out for a track light or directional light?...See Moredawnp
