Any large gaps. Any boards that doesn't look like it fits in the overall expanse of the floor. For example if you have a knot free floor and there is one that has a knot. Make sure the color variation is spread out so you don't have large areas that are one tpe of color and the rest a different. Boards should have been placed randomly to minimize those things. I'm sure there is more, but I can't think of it now.

Why not consider something like Metro Shelving (or one of the many other brands of similar shelving). This is the heavy wire shelving used in many commercial kitchens. It's available in numerous sizes, many different finishes, you can configure the shelves to suit your needs, there are tons of optional specialty storage accessories available, and it'll save you a bundle over the cost of custom shelving built-ins. I initially put Metro in my walk-in pantry as a temporary solution until I figured out what I really wanted. I liked it so well, I kept it and just modified some of the configuration and added some accessories. I keep groups of things that I'm likely to use at the same time in pull-out plastic baskets. Baking supplies, for instance, are kept in one basket that I just lift out and bring to my work area when I'm baking. The same for other similar groups of items. Works great. If you have one of those "storage container" stores or a restaurant supply store in your area, they usually have a good selection of sizes and accessories. If you don't like the wire shelves, you can get clear plastic liners that fit on top of each shelf, giving you a nice smooth surface. Also, if you shop around on line, you can often save even more. Lots of really good light is necessary. Trying to differentiate between the navy blue pants and the black pants and then trying to find socks that match is hard without good lighting. I'm always having to bring my stuff out of the closet into the bedroom where the light is better to figure it out. I have a mix of hangers - padded ones for blouses, clipped ones for skirts, my Dh likes wooden ones for suit jackets and I like really strong ones for my jeans - and those are really hard to find these days. Costco often sells nice packages of hangers. Think about what you are storing other than clothes - shoes, purses (I have a deeper shelf at the top for purses so as to keep those pesky straps under control and they are in cubbies that hold about 4 purses each), accessories such as scarves, belts.

We went back and forth all day today, and settled with them paying half closing costs and leaving us all of their outdoor furniture (wicker porch chairs, nice conversation set, and a glass table with chairs). They are also leaving their bamboo Roman shades. Final amendment has been signed!!! I finally feel like the deal is fair, but I definitely didn’t feel that way with us paying for all closing costs and getting nothing else out of the deal. Honestly, I didn’t think the siding and roof were as big of a problem, but my realtor freaked out over it. The inspector told me that he has seen people walk away from a home with those particular features. It can just be so hard when you aren’t the expert and have to make such a big decision.
