I love tapioca..haven't a clue as to how to make it...I just buy the "CozyShack" brand when I feel the urge to have it...it is very good.

I love tapioca pudding. DD can get sugar-free refrigerated tapioc pudding where she lives, but I haven't found it here. Dottie

I like it too, but only with the beaten egg white folded in. My mother would serve this at fancy dinners served in crystal martini glasses with a seasonal fruit, which she had simmered very briefly in a fruit syrup.

Love it! I find the sugar free here and in TX at Wal-Mart with the Jello puddings and yogurt.Even made with Splenda it still has too many carbs for me.

Can't stand it however I love Danish Dessert which is a tapioca based raspberry pudding.

I buy the Minute Tapioca I think it is and make it from scratch. Not the kind you just add milk to like a pudding.

I make it homemade from Bascom's large pearl tapioca.

I love to eat it when it's still warm...with fresh grated nutmeg on top.

It is hard to find pearl tapioca around here any more.

My dear deceased FIL used to make the best tapioca pudding I ever ate. He folded in the whipped egg whites, too.
I haven't made tapioca since my kids grew up and left home.

i love Tapioca pudding with canned peaches. It was my fsather's favorite dessert. Can't find the old fashioned pearl beads anymore. I use cooked tapioca pudding, several brands are still made.Jello,Royal,store brand, etc.

I like tapioca, but haven't made any in a long time. A while back I bought a can of tapioca just out of curiosity. It stayed on the shelf a until I got hungry for "something" and I ate it.

This is what I said about it in a thread on February 27th: "What are you eating right now?" Tapioca pudding. Store bought. Not bad; not great either.

I love it. Like Glenda the chinese restaurant that I went to today has it and I make sure I have some. That is one of the reasons I go there and sometime I make it here at home for myself from Minute tapioca. There is also a steakhouse out by the river that has it and when we go there I make sure I have some. One day they ran out of crackers and tapioca pudding and I told them they cant do that run out of both at the same time.

I buy Minute Tapioca and use it for a thickener when I make beef stew. Can't really say I've ever had tapioca pudding.

I love tapioca. I prefer to eat it warm. I don't make it however. Maybe I should. Like I really need it. LOL

When I'm sick, my kids are sick, DH is sick, or anyone else is sick anywhere on the planet, it comforts me! Minute Tapioca is best but any brand will do in a pinch.

Love it--especially the Minute Tapioca. My mom made the look cooking pearl tapioca, and it can be good too.

One of my favorite desserts! Absolutely LOVE it! Cozy Shack is good.

Fluffy Tapioca Cream

1 egg white
6 tablespoons sugar, divided
3 tablespoons Minute tapioca
2 cups milk
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla

Beat egg white in a medium bowl with electric mixer on high speed until foamy. Gradually add 3 tablespoons sugar, beating until soft peaks form.

Mix tapioca, remaining 3 tablespoons sugar, milk and egg yolk in medium saucepan. Let stand 5 minutes.

Cook on medium heat stirring constantly, until mixture comes to full boil. (a boil that doesn't stop bubbling when stirred).

Remove from heat. Quickly stir in egg white mixture until well blended. Stir in vanilla.

Cool 20 minutes, stir. Serve warm or chilled. Makes 6 servings. ( I make mine in the microwave.)

Love it! I make the Minute kind and like to eat it with homemade strawberry freezer jam! Yummy!

I tried the Minute tapioca years ago, but don't like it.
It's real tapioca, cooked, then dried and ground up.

The taste and texture is all gone.

Love it also,but i'm the only one who does,so i just buy Kozy shack as well.Also buy their rice pudding.
