We had a wonderful time. I just love visiting with Nita and Carol and Nita's husband is just as easy to get to know as she is. They have lived in so many countries and so many places I love hearing about. It's not every day you hear someone say in conversation, "When we lived in Ethiopia..." What an exciting life! I was a little disappointed in my lunch. I thought the ham loaf was a little dry because I left it in longer than I should have. Same with the potatoes and I won't even discuss the asparagus. But everybody seemed to like it and had seconds on the potatoes. I didn't have dessert because we don't usually eat our big meal until evening. So no dinner for us tonight unless we want to "pick". Where is everyone tonight?

I played bridge today. Partner and I came in first which surprised us because we had such crummy cards. That's the good part of duplicate, though. Doesn't matter how bad the cards are it's how good you do with the bad cards. LOL Guess we held our own. I didn't get home until 5:40. Was going to make shrimp creole but am settling for chili from the freezer instead. We'll have the creole Wednesday night. Hope you feel better Jas.

I'm sorry, Jas--I didn't see your post before I posted. Hope you have a good time listening to the music tonight. I sure have missed the "What's for dinner" thread. I love reading the posts, but my keyboard decided quit working until my SIL fix it yesterday.

Prime Rib rubbed with horseradish, fresh rosemary and kosher salt. It's in at 500� right now, and after 30 minutes the oven gets set at 325. Baked potatoes are also in the oven, and we'll have green beans, also. DH wanted to cook the beef since it had been in our outside freezer for quite awhile. He was leery of serving it for Christmas dinner in case it was freezer burned. Looked alright, so I hope it tastes great too.
