Just realized from my photo that the ottomon isn't centred to the area rug. DH and I pulled it in when we watched tv. But you get the idea... =)

It's a beautiful sectional sofa which also looks very comfortable. I gather from your picture that you like a cool color/almost no color scheme. I imagine some large pieces of art on the wall behind the sofa would look really spectacular. The lighter colors against the dark floor look quite dramatic.

It's beautiful. I love your lavender accents. Reminds me of Gladys Knights living room I saw once on TV. The room was white and had white furniture in it. The only accent she had was a purple plant, I believe some orchids. It was gorgeous!!

Very nice sectional, and nice job with the accoutrements. We just ordered a sectional for our livingroom because it seemed like the perfect solution for our oddly laid out and configured area and our limited seating dilemma. I'm waiting with bated breath for its arrival in about 6-8 weeks. Do you find the ottoman works better than a traditional coffee table? And the shape? I'm liking the square vs. the rectangle.

I took these photos early in the morning without any lights on, so it's looking a bit cool and stark. It's much more vivid looking in person.

Mrsmarv - the ottomon is amazing. We had a solid maple coffee table and although nice, it just doesn't compare to putting your feet on a comfy ottomon. The tray is perfect for our drinks, and can provide seating for more casual parties. We ordered our sectional for the same reasons as you - limited seating, and also competing focal points with the corner fireplace and television.

It looks great . . . I was interested to hear how much you like the ottoman. I suspect we'll do that as well -- I really like how yours fits the space. Great texture in the rug!

I really love your sectional. In fact I loved it so much I called the manufacturer. Unfortunately, they don't sell in the U.S. :( I have found some manufacturers that have a very similar look. Would you mind providing some measurements?

What is the width of the sectional? What is the width of the arms? What is the distance from the top of the arm to the cushion? Is that a microfiber type fabric?

Niley - That's too bad about Gresham House, I guess it would be too hard for them to ship outside of Canada. The measurements are, for the left arm sofa 71" long by 35" deep, the right arm sofa is the same, and the square corner sofa is 35" long by 35" deep.

It's a polyester I think...kind of like a microfiber but it doesn't have the fingerprinting issue.

We changed out for sectional sofa around mid January. Ours is microfiber as well. It has a tweed texture but just texture, solid in color (graphite, I think is the color's name). I want to say that even if it should fall apart tomorrow, one great thing. Our cat vomited on it, food, hair and everything and it wiped right up. Not so easy when the dog ruptured her "glands" on the new hardwood floors and oriental (less than a week old) rug yesterday. We had flooding about 3 weeks ago and they just got our floors re done and dog decided it needed surgery during the night and performed her own on our floors and rugs. Yep, there's still smoking coming from my ears.
