looking for help with paint color in nursery

Good morning!

This is my first post in this forum... though I used to frequent garden web to talk about plants a while back.

A good friend of mine recommended I come here to get some help in deciding on a paint color for the nursery I am planning. We are in the process of our second adoption (3rd child) and I am going a little stir crazy during the wait, so I wanted to start working on the room.

I have picked this bedding:

the colors are a bit brighter in person.

Our trim and moulding is white, the furniture is oak colored.

I have gotten 4 different paint samples and not liked any of them. I love green, but most of our house is painted green (behr promenade, we LOVE it) and I am iffy about doing more green. The room is small, and currently painted a minty sage (I am not a fan of this color, personally). I have tried 3 different yellows and both look really intense. The most promising of the two was dutch boy honey bear. It was a creamy color, but in person it is too bright.

Is this because the back color of my walls is blue/green?

I am sorry this has gotten so long winded, I am sick of spending my money on paint samples that don't look good! does any one have any suggestions?
