Only one who likes plain cranberry sauce?

I was just about to make the same plain unadulterated sauce I make every year when I noticed the recipe posted. I didn't want to hijack that thread so thought I would ask in a separate post. Just curious.

I remembered my Mom made Orange Cranberry sauce 40 years ago and no one in the family liked it. I have tried a lot of other recipes over the years at friends, and they were OK, but still preferred the plain sugar and water version. DS and DH are purists too.

I guess there is so much going on with all the other dishes I want the cranberry sauce to remain in the background. To me the turkey and dressing are the stars of the show.

So what do you like? Is my family the only ones?
