I think 2 had to go back for the letters, the sisters and the short brothers, didn't they? I was surprised that more didn't know Chekhov too. And I think it was a smart move by Margie and Luke, after all, it's a game and you're in it to win!

i was pretty shocked, at the u turn...but then it's aleady getting down to "real" numbers...

I think that, deep down inside, the others won't have a problem with Amanda and Kris being eliminated as a result of the U-Turn -- after all, if Amanda and Kris hadn't been eliminated, one of those remaining teams would have been.

i too was rather surprised at how many didn't realize it was chekov. luke needs to stop throwing his little boy fits, it gets annoying. i did feel bad though when his mom said english is his second language. made me wonder if anyone helped him along.

based on the previews, it appears luke will continue to use the u-turn. the way they are doing it this year is different than others, correct? in that the team has no clue who is doing it and they have to go back and do the second challenge? (or am i forgetting something)

TAR is among my favorite shows and i totally enjoy watching it. i wonder how long it takes to put such a show together and in "payment", have the teams participate in work projects. it's funny to watch the locals getting a kick out of the participants, isn't it? especially the cheese challenge.

I would like to see Margie & Luke win or the Asian siblings (can't remember their names!). This is the first year I have ever watched TAR and I really like it.

If I didn't know the word, I would have just started trying letter combos, sooner or later you MIGHT hit on it or give yourself an idea. To sit there and worry or complain was a giant waste of time. I heard his mom say "I can't help you" at least once. I'm sure they weren't allowed to give them ideas of words after the one went to the letters.

I like when teams use the U-turn, it's just smart racing to try to slow down the good competition. I think they've had to do both tasks before, haven't they? Or was it a time-penalty? Maybe both. I think that Luke used the U-turn to keep his favorite girl team in it, he was buying them time. I could be wrong about that, but it seems like those 2 girls were doing OK without that help. The problem now is going to be to get the other teams to trust them, seems like they may be thinking they're a bit sneaky. Although, eliminating the tough competition helped ALL those other teams, if Amanda and Kris hadn't gone, some other team would have.

I liked the wood stacking challenge, we stack wood all the time and there is an art to it, but that wood was nice and small and looked fairly easy to work with. I had to laugh when the sisters started out by sorting the wood. That would have taken forever, they obviously started to do it on the fly because they finished up pretty quickly. The Siberian men sure had a thing for pretty American women, didn't they? I found that a bit opportunistic on their parts.... (taps cheek, gets hug or kiss, ick.) If you have to ask, it's not completely voluntary.

The brothers- I liked them at first, but that one brother seems snotty to me, I'm not liking him as much these days. But, changing tasks was smart for them, their height would have made stacking that pile of wood difficult, I'm surprised they didn't figure that out at the start.

The house was right in front of them? I missed that part. Darn!

Victor was a little better Sunday night, I thought. I guess his goof-up last week taught him a few things. I'm glad, I really like Tammy.

I don't really have a favorite team right now, and I don't have one I really dislike either, which takes the stress out of the race for me. lol

Like many of you, I do not yet have a favorite team. I'm not crazy about Christie & Jodi, the blonds, but they have improved since the first two shows. Cara & Jamie, the friends of Luke & Margie are OK, but I don't think they have what it takes to win.

Of the reamining teams, they all seem to be strong in different ways. Father & son, Mel & Mike have done well but I'm not sure why. Is it smarts or are they just savvy and, can they keep it up? I still like the brothers, Mark & Michael. They can do physical stuff and seem strong but, their size may be an issue for them. If sisters Lakisia & Jennifer can keep it together they could prove to be a strong team and, fast. Jennifer tends to pout when her sister takes over control, not good. I think Luke & Margie will do well. They communicate well but as Maryanne pointed out, Luke had a bit of a melt down due to frustration. I'm sure that is a continuing issue in his life but he needs to keep it together, not allow himself to become overwhelmed. Tammy & Victor are the full package if, Victor can keep his wits about him long enough to allow Tammy to be an equal partner.

Any one care to predict who the final three teams will be?
