Yep, we'll be all cleaned up and ready to eat when it starts. Hopefully I can pay closer attention tonight. I hate when I miss things and I really hate when someone starts talking to me, telling me how they SHOULD have done it, during the show. Shhhhhush! Sheeeeesh!

I'll tape it because it's coming on the same time as the Oscars.

As it's getting closer to the time for it to be on, I thought I'd kick this to the top again.

In case anyone -does- miss an episode, I think it's aired the following Friday nights on the Travel channel.

I felt sorry for the team that was eliminated. She tried, but she just was not up to it.

Boy, the blonds were very lucky last night. They made it by a hair. I don't think they will be in it much longer.

I think I would have waited out the wind issue on top of the mountain. Wow, what an experience to hang glide in such a beautiful place. I never would have made it all the way back down, an HOUR on foot. I would have enjoyed the pie toss...Yummm. But, the segway (sp?) would have been fun also.

The brother & sister came in first by a lot, at least it looked that way. The sister & sister team seem to have a few sibling issues that might get in the way. Most of the other teams seem to be evenly matched. So far, so good.

Personally I was glad to see them go. She seemed like a very nice person, but all the tears was getting to me. And she worried constantly about what he would think of her. Makes me think she's very insecure about their relationship.

I would've wanted to wait out the wind, too ... altho I'm not keen on heights, I think I'd have wanted to try that challenge!

i was kind of sorry to see them go but knew it would happen sooner than later...but the blonds? are they following in the footsteps of the ones last season?

I liked Steve and Linda but I agree that she didn't seem to be able to keep up with the rest too well. I think he kind of set the tone for her in the first episode when he berated her and she was very wounded by that. It was very sweet though when they both said last night how much they love each other and how money can't buy that.

I would have loved to do the paraglide and the segue/segway challenges, way more than a bungee jump! Too bad that wind wasn't cooperating. I probably would have run down the mountain, too, not willing to wait.

That dating couple- is English her 2nd language or something? Her boyfriend kept correcting her pronunciation or grammar all night. "AustRIA, not AustraLIA!" lol That was just one of them.

When father/son couldn't open the gate, that was pretty funny.

And when the father told the stunt guy "don't be scared", I thought the stunt brother was going to go off on him. He looked very offended by that jokey comment. I think the other brother is more laid back and not as snotty.

It was a good show, all in all. I know I don't ever want to be clobbered by cakes. That could have been painful.

I felt bad for the team that was eliminated. I always like to cheer on the underdogs. It broke my heart to see how upset she kept getting because she did not want to disappoint/upset him. Sort of bothered me too that she tries to keep everything cool so as not to upset him. Makes me think that life at home has it's problems. He did say she has had a very hard life. I hope this experience gives her a boost of confidence.

Sorry for the couple that got eliminated, but don't think they would have ever won.

No, I don't think Steve and Linda had a snowball's chance of winning, but you just know in your heart of hearts that they really could use the money. For that reason, I wish they'd at least made it a little longer, so their winnings would be a little more. Still, they did get to travel to places they never would have seen otherwise, and had expereinces they never would have had.

We were truly amazed at how incredibly 'tupid those flight attendants are. Good grief, I'd hate to be on a flight they were working and then have some sort of emergency. They'd barely be able to find their way to the emergency exit doors...

Hubs and I were both extremely impressed with the prayer the older gentlman said when he wanted that wind to die down so he could do the paraglide challenge (rather than have to walk down the mountain). Made our respect for him go way up. What a refreshing change from contestants in past seasons who declare that "it's a matter of life or death" when trying to get a seat on an airplane, or train, etc.
