Just 3?...The big highlights...
1: I pruned alot of Roses.
2:I volunteered a few hours for the Red Cross...My time, not my blood...Ouch. I didn't even have to see the needles...I gave out cookies and drinks.
3: I gave all my cats their dose of Frontline for fleas.

Don't tell me my life isn't exciting.

was just talking to bro about his.. take a long branch in your hand.. and trace it down into the plant.. you WILL SEE.. buds way down in there .. so the 12 to 18 inch old branch.. can be cut down to those.. and after you have done a dozen.. you will understand ... that the whole thing can be sheared down to 4 to 6 inches.. to rejuvenate it ... use these as dried flowers.. or take off leaves.. and sew them into sachets.. for a drawer.. or just get rid of them... and i seem to think.. the french use it in chicken spices.. of which i cant recall the name of... ken

1. Anything that once walked around on land 2. Anything stuffed inside something that once walked around on land. 3. Anything with sweet potatoes/yams. Especially canned with marshmallows on it. We'll be eating with my boyfriend's family. I have to work that day so it makes it hard for me to contribute something actually vegetarian (I'll try and make something the night before). These kind of meals are difficult for vegetarians when meat eaters sometimes don't quite get that something might not be vegetarian just because it doesn't have big hunks of meat in it, ie....chicken stock, bacon bits, etc. Some people put some sort of animal product in everything they make, even the vegetables. Which is fine, just makes things trickier for me. All my sisters are vegetarians (or pesca-tarians), so our holidays meals are filled with tons of delicious vegetarian dishes, but being the only one is a whole different ball game.

I had a busy weekend:

1. Went to a child's birthday party.
2. Went to dinner with friend's for another birthday.
3. Threw my DD a surprise 21st birthday party. Trying to keep it a secret was stressful.

DD#3 is a high school teacher. Went to see their production of Les Miserables. While I am not a patron of the arts even I could appreciate the amount of time & effort required to put on a show like this. It was educational too; now I know it's "LAY MIZ ZER ROB" and not "LESS MIZ ZER RAH BULLS" (jk) That was Friday.

Saturday: cut up, bagged and put out for trashmen the branches that fell during a heavy snowstorm a few weeks ago. I had to wait until the rest of the snow melted. I'm so out of shape that I felt like I'd played football when I got up the next morning!

Sunday: packed for upcoming trip to Phillies Spring Training, Clearwater FL.

Added another page to my genealogy web site so that I could have two separate pages for ancestors'/relatives' photographs -- one for Hubs' side and one for mine.

Added a huge bunch of photos to both pages.

Slept in late.

Went to an greenhouse sale (private collector selling her orchid collection) Purchased a few
Went to a very large orchid nursery 60,000 sq ft of greenhouses. WOW WOW! Purchased just one. Also saw an orchid that the owner paid $10,000 for! Sure was pretty!
Went to an orchid show and sale.
