1. Going to the diner for morning coffee with my pals Lynn and Lou (Lucille).

Fun? Not much fun planned today.

I will give the donkeys some carrots...fun for them.

I will put flea meds on the rest of the cats and dog that I didn't get to yesterday...not fun, but neither are fleas.

I will check and see if the cats caught any mice that I can feed to the possums. (Every day for the past week or so, one of my cats has brought two little mice and left them on the steps. Fun for the possums.)

Its another dreary day here, foggy & rain ahead. I was going to go town but I don't know now.

Not sure how much time for fun we're going to have today, but 3 things we have planned:

1--drive back to the old neighborhood

2--surprising my dd's work collegues with a spice cake with burnt butter frosting (okay, so that's fun).

3--go with DH to an appt. at his surgeon's to see what the issue he's having might be (a new hernia, problem with the old one, something else?) and what needs to be done.

2. battling with the post office over something I overnighted Friday that was supposed to get there Saturday and STILL hasn't been delivered as of Tuesday morning.

Shopping for living room furniture, having lunch, and coming home to rest,,,

Washing more windows(not fun) organizing drawers and taking stuff to Community center, walking dogs.

defrosting the freezer
baking an apple pie for dear hubby's birthday
(sorry, but that as fun as it's gonna get around here today)

watching granddaughters after school,
attending a women's ministry meeting tonight,
taking a nap in about 5 minutes lol

Went to the new Costco and bought a member's card, got a $10 gift card as a premium for joining. Dang, cost more to join than I expected. Guess we'll see if it's worthwhile.

Helped DIL take the new baby to her first Dr visit.
Bought them a baby swing.
Bought yarn to start a project for my 5 year old GD. May try to make a little pumpking hat for the baby.

Toured a C130.
Watched the Snowbirds arrive at DAB.
Had lunch with a friend.

1.Made pumpkin bread to satisfy a craving

2.Didn't know what to make for dinner so I decided to make it a game. I had to make the first thing I pulled out of the freezer ( boneless pork chops) and make the first recipe in my book (of tried and true) that I found using pork -szechuan pork!

3. DD(19) wanted to come with me when I pick ed up DS(13) from school today. We got to wait in the car and chat-it was a nice day with even a breeze!

Opening my third beer... for the second time? I know, not a very good post but I love the subject line and wanted to say something. Most days I have three things in triplicate! (no pun intended)
