BM beige paint for SW-facing bedroom? Experts?

I'm looking for a beige Benjamin Moore paint for our master bedroom. The room gets plenty of light, with two southwest facing and one northwest facing window. I'd like a tone that's cozy but not too dark.

The floor is hardwood, a warm dark color; the shades are a light creamy yellow; and the curtains are camel colored. All this would seem to point me toward a gold-toned beige, but I really don't like gold! I like BM's "Manchester Tan" (just used it in our LR and DR) but it doesn't seem to go with the camel curtains. I have a large swatch of BM "Muslin" that seems to go better with the curtains. If the curtains are what's steering me in the gold direction, should I ditch them, or is there a color I could use that would acknowledge the warmth of the camel without appearing really gold on the wall?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Have you looked at BenM Shaker Beige in the room with the shades/curtains?

I used BM Quincy Tan in my dining room. I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on that color. I have a white ceiling with white trim and the color just looks great against the white contrast. I have also ditched curtains that were causing me trouble picking a paint color.I feel like you can change the curtains easier than the paint color. Go with the paint color you like. I am in the process of picking a color for my foyer. I just painted it in April and do not like it. Good thing it was not wall paper! lol. Good Luck!

I feel like somehow I've managed to totally hijack Ljane's thread (sorry, Ljane!) while we all sit here in eager anticipation awaiting her Vintage Charm and assorted other splotching. Here are pics of why I need to change the color. I took these around 10 am in the morning on a sunny day .Hard to capture cathedral ceilings but was trying to show my dilemma with dark corners and that the color brightens in some areas but not others. I took pics with no flash. The sun rays were coming in with the one pic where it looks cloudy but it really doesn't affect much lighting wise. Click on each pic to open to full pic. Haven't read through the thread but will share this: I do like the black and white vibe you have going but wouldn't add much, if any, more black. Would definitely want to keep the walls really light in a north facing room so you can keep the furnishings you choose --even dark ones -- and yet not end up with a cave vibe. Would not use wall paper. Strategically placing a mirror can reflect outdoor light from the windows. We have a vaulted bedroom on the north west corner of the house so it probably gets a little more sun but with the shades often drawn I chose classic gray by Benjamin Moore and I love it. It almost comes off more beige on the wall but it’s really neutral and goes great with greys andwhites. (don’t mind that the room isn’t finished we just do little by little!)

Thanks for the responses! Funcolors, you're amazing--we have a pantry painted in Shaker Beige because I thought I might want to use it for the LR and DR, but it turned out to look a bit too dark. When I put the camel curtains next to it, though, they look beautiful together! I'm not sure if I can convince DH to use Shaker Beige in the bedroom because he's convinced it's too dark. I'm sure it will look different in a lighter room, though. Maybe I'll try a swatch...(after we've finished stripping the blasted wallpaper).

The Quincy Tan is very nice, indecisive101, but it's darker than Shaker Beige, so I don't think that will fly with DH.

Take a look at Kilim Beige by SW. BM can match it. I like it because it has no apparent undertones, no gold, peach, etc.
