What color blue did you paint your ceiling? Do you have any pictures you could share? I want to do the same thing, paint the entire ceiling a slight blue tint. I am leaning towards SW Rhythmic Blue 6806 diluted by 75%. https://www.houzz.com/discussions/ceiling-paint-color-dsvw-vd~5252558

It's beautiful. I'm mostly interested in the white cabinets, which look very smooth and creamy.

The Moulding is Alabaster and Looked correct so it must have been the base color coming through even though the paint had primer in it and the painters said it wasn’t necessary to first prime. I also realized our windows in that room have a UV film on them with a tint as well so perhaps that was part of the issue. I ended up painting the walls SW Creamy and it thankfully somehow balanced it all out! I left all the cabinets and moulding Alabaster so we didn’t have to redo it all. It somehow all works together and is doing the more tonal thing that I intended it to do. Note to self for next time…peel and stick samples do not always tell the truth and make sure everything is primed without negotiation before any painting.

I think Poolhouse will look good with Iron Ore. Alabaster wouldn't be my first choice with Poolhouse. Extra White is recommended. You should sample all of these colors to see how you like them. Buy samples from Samplize.com or SW. Look at them next to your floors. Since you're building you may not be able to look at them in the new house, but if you can, that's best, because maybe the light will be coming from another direction than what you live with now. If you want a trim color that is not as white-white as Extra White, but not as yellow as Alabaster, look at Pure White. That is a very versatile white. Were you planning on having warmer colors somewhere in the house that led you to choosing Alabaster for the trim? But if you like Alabaster with Poolhouse, there's nothing wrong with it - it's your house, so please yourself. :-)
