Pumpkin Gooey Cake ?

Has anyone made the Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake? I've made an apple variation before, been a while, but I don't remember it being like this. It turned out a lot like a big, thick pumpkin pie. Really excellent if you like pumpkin pie, & I do, but I was wondering if I should have baked it longer for a different result. The recipe calls for baking 45-50 minutes, & I baked it 55 minutes. Even though the temperature checks correctly, things take longer in my oven. The sides were starting to pull away from the pan when I took it out, the middle was still a bit jiggly. I did follow the recipe exactly except I didn't have nutmeg. I did really like it, & will make it instead of pumpkin pie from now on, but just wasn't sure about the baking time. Oh, here is the recipe

Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake

1 yellow cake mix

1 egg

8 TB butter, melted

8-oz cream cheese

1 (15-oz) can of pumpkin

3 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

8 TB butter, melted

1 pd powdered sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp nutmeg

350 deg. Combine cake mix, egg, & 8 TB butter, mix well. Pat into greased 13 x 9 baking pan.

Filling: beat cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, & 8 TB butter, beat. Add powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg & mix well. Spread pumpkin mix over cake the batter, bake 50 min. Don't overbake, center should be gooey, but may take longer.

I do remember now that the recipe says to pat the cake mix layer in the pan, but that wasn't at all necessary, it spread nicely.
