Lamb is one thing I have only cooked once. I find it's so expensive so I never tend to buy. Might have to look into buying a quarter or half as you did! Last night I made a pepita crusted halibut with cilantro, serrano cream sauce. I cheated as I had picked up a cilantro chutney at the Farmer's market. When I looked at the ingredients, they were pretty much the same as the sauce. I sautéed some onions, added a Serrano chile and some cream. Was wonderful! I don't spend a lot of time cooking-my kitchen is awful, no usable counter space so I do a lot of very simple foods, but when the urge strikes, I make more diverse dishes. Following are my faves - Beef Main Dish: I make a family dish, we call it agasate. It's a braised eye round roast, then removed from the pan to soften a couple of chopped onions and some garlic. Put roast back in, cover with water and set to boil. Once roast is cooked, remove and cook down the juices to make a thick gravey-almost like french onion soup. Serve over thick noodles and be generous with the freshly grated parmesan. - Ground Beef Main Dish: Meatloaf and scalloped potatoes - Chicken Main Dish: Chicken alfredo w/broccoli served over noodles -Ground Chicken or Turkey Main Dish: - Pork Main Dish: Baked pork chops and roasted veggies - Vegetarian Main Dish: Baked penne with marinara - Pasta Main Dish: Pasta with my homemade meat sauce - Out on the Grill Main Dish: rib eye steak smothered in crushed garlic - Main Dish Salad: Grilled chicken, chopped apple and pecans over spring greens - Fish Main Dish: Fish tacos-usually made with either mahi mahi or cod, with shredded cabbage, lime & cilantro - Other Seafood Main Dish (such as Shrimp, Scallops, Etc.): I hate shellfish, so I never make anything like that. - Vegan Main Dish: pad thai - Homemade Soup: beef bourguingon or split pea with ham - Main Dish Sandwich: Oven roasted turkey, swiss cheese, cranberry mustard on crusty french bread. - Non-Vegetable Side Dish: ? Stuffing? - Veggie Side Dish: Roasted veggies-beets, carrots, red and white potatoes and parsnips are staples. - Quick & Easy Dessert: Ice Cream! I eat burgers at home, fast food burger and burgers at sit down places. They are all different. I generally avoid BK, McDonald's and most fast food burgers only because they don't taste that great to me. In and Out tastes OK but you better gobble it down fast before it cools or gets soggy. Plus it's really a skimpy on the meat if you get a single which I prefer when eating burgers. Five Guys is the worst burger available in my opinion. Disgusting wet mess. I think Jack In the Box has the best fast food burger since they improved their bun. I get my "fast food" burgers at a couple of drive in where they cook to order. Like the old Foster Freezes and Dairy Queens used to do it. Had a great patty melt at one the other day. On rye and just the right size unlike some of the huge things at a sit down place. My favorite burger place is a little hole in the wall that has fresh beef and also has bison and ostrich burgers. In a sit down restaurant I am more likely to order a patty melt or an open faced chili burger. For me a good burger is as much about the bun as it is the meat. The bun should be toasty and it should hold up to the ingredients.

Here it is Kathsgrdn 375 oven Unstuffed Bell Pepper Bake 1 lb ground turkey 1 1/2 cup cooked rice 2 bell pepper, or three 1 medium yellow onion 15 oz can of tomato sauce 2 cups shredded mozzarella 1 tsp garlic 1 TBS Italian seasoning 1 TBS balsamic vinegar 1 TBS Worcestershire sauce 2 scallions, chopped 1/4 tsp black pepper. Use a 9x13 glass baking dish In a skillet, cook turkey until crumbled. Sauté the vegetables separately. Drain the turkey if needed combine the vegetables and turkey. Add garlic powder pepper Italian seasoning balsamic vinegar Westchester sauce combine. Next add your cook rice and tomato sauce stir and transfer into the dish. Sprinkle with cheese and scallions. Bake for about 22 minutes. Notes: I just mix in the cheese rather than sprinkle on top. This recipe is easy to double if desired. It’s a healthier version than the beef one. I know you are busy. I cut the vegetables and shred the cheese ahead of time. I also make the rice ahead of time. I also sometimes use unsalted tomato sauce. Up to you! Enjoy!
