Thanks again friends. As for the dinner, it wasn't good. It was a super large Asian buffet! The food on the hot bar did not taste fresh and was not hot. A lot of the chicken items were chewy, like they had been sitting there too long. The tempura was cold and rubbery. The sushi bar was huge but some of the Edomae-sushi was scary. The only saving item was the Peking Duck; I saw it as it came out of the kitchen. It was better than most and reminded me of what I had at the Peking Duck House in NY.

You all won't believe the surprise birthday party my fellow pigeons gave me tonight! How wonderful to have this experience since I haven't had a birthday party since I was 16. I was given gifts, hugs, music, cake, and best of all, the company of some pretty darn wonderful friends...Peppi, Karen, Sherry, David, Linda, Nancy, and May. Yea Me! A few days ago Raymond wished me Happy Birthday. He said it was just in case he didn't remember it today. I did suggest that we go to a restaurant that has been on my bucket list going back to my childhood. As a kid I dreamed about being rich one day so I could go there. It has it's own landing strip to accommodate guests from all over the US. It's literally in the middle of no-where Florida and it maybe a dump by now but at least I can say I went. The menu looks interesting. I'll report back.

Linda, Nope, we decided not to fly in because our jet is being serviced. LOL

Lee, It's certainly not as exotic as your birthday dinner.

Other Cathy/Maddie, I hope it's still good; I haven't heard much about it lately.

Other Kathy/CdL, I ran into the little ones at the grocery store a few hours ago so I was happy--well not really, they were with the other grandma--but better than nothing.
