Thank you all for thinking of me! No one made me a cake. Mom usually makes me a chocolate meringue pie and I made it this year. She had surgery and isn't back up to snuff yet. Soon. The boy bought me a slice of chocolate ganache cake at the bakery after we walked to lunch, on the way back. Does that count? He wanted to buy the whole thing, but I just knew we'd eat it all! :)

Linda, Nope, we decided not to fly in because our jet is being serviced. LOL Lee, It's certainly not as exotic as your birthday dinner. Other Cathy/Maddie, I hope it's still good; I haven't heard much about it lately. Other Kathy/CdL, I ran into the little ones at the grocery store a few hours ago so I was happy--well not really, they were with the other grandma--but better than nothing. Sooz, All month? That's a thought.

You all won't believe the surprise birthday party my fellow pigeons gave me tonight! How wonderful to have this experience since I haven't had a birthday party since I was 16. I was given gifts, hugs, music, cake, and best of all, the company of some pretty darn wonderful friends...Peppi, Karen, Sherry, David, Linda, Nancy, and May. Yea Me! All of your wished have added to this very nice day. *I told Jessy some time ago not to post my birthday on the forum because I don't do Bdays for myself. Thank you, thank you for the wonderful wishes everyone!

It would be really hard to beat last year's birthday in the mountains of Tennessee with CF friends Sherry, Linda, Karen, David, Peppi, May, and Nancy. I have been flipping through the cookbook that they gave me from the Biltmore House to find something memorable to celebrate the one year anniversary of our adventure together. What a really great time that was.
