I am going to church and then home and bake up cinnamon rolls and take to our church's bowling party in town!

We have tickets to see the Royal Lipizzaner Stallions today. Going with a friend.

I will do some more bermuda grass eradicating this morning though.

Well, so far, got up, made breakfast, have my second load of wash going.

Once I get up from playing here--LOL--I plan to: finish scraping the bathroom wallpaper; wash the hall and stairs, make lunch; empty porch for guy coming Tues. to sand the floor; pack up the car, head to the country house, make dinner for DH there, make curtains for the porch. Know I forgot a few things, but that's a start on my day, at least.

I'm tired just reading Azzalea's post! I didn't go to church today, so am still lazing around in my pajamas,waiting for the coffee to be done. I think I will plant some tomatoes and peppers today.

I got up and made butter tarts for the freezer. I will bake them before work on Tuesday and take them in. I also cleaned the freezer out a bit. I'm going to make cheesecake brownies for today, and then I will take the dogs for a walk. I'm going to work in the back yard too. I will get on the treadmill for a bit, and I'm cooking dinner for company tonight. I also have some laundry to do.

We went to church last night, so, this morning so far I've cleaned out the bathroom. Cleaned out my office. Washed the storm doors and cleaned off the front and back porches. Swept the hallway and mudroom and vacuumed the mudroom rug. Next, put away clothes, take a bath and then go hear our son play jazz at the empty bowl event at school. Then, maybe visit with my in-laws before returning to school to see my son do the tango in the play he is in, The Boyfriend. After that, make supper and who knows!

I'm playing hooky from church today. Mom (82) has relatives from out of state coming to visit. She doesn't know they're coming and we've orchestrated a small group of family to meet at the house for a bit of a reunion. It should be great fun!

Headed to church and than to Popeyes's for lunch.Greg and Ashley is off.After that we will stop by the hospital to visit Greg's brother who has been there going on two weeks with a broken back and hip.He is also recovering from a 2nd knee surgery.Poor man is in such a bad shape and the pain is unbearable.He has that crippling arthitis

I am leaving soon for church. After church a fun group of us go to lunch. After lunch, who knows? I might come home and work on a baby quilt for a cousin.

Go out and retrieve all the stuff from our yard that blew up against the back fence. Go out in front and retrieve all the stuff against the front fence that blew over from the across-the-street neighbor's yard. Find all the lids to the trash cans. Upright the big city trash cans. Check all the flues and make sure the dampers didn't blow open (lotta heat lost that way). Feed and water the chickens, wash the cover sheet on the sofa to get rid of the cat hair. Chase the dog out from under the computer chair where she insists on gnawing on her hoof-makes a heck of a vibration! Gear up for the return of DH and grandson and new dog they adopted. Winter is returning so I'll be stuck in the house for the next day or so. Oh, but the bulbs are finally showing a little green, so spring must be around the corner!

I woke up late today because I had a heck of a time sleeping last night because of my coughing. I have a cold and it's really irritating my lungs. Lauren and her friends spent the night last night and were up baking cookies, and burnt them, so that didn't help any. Took a benadryl to help me sleep, after I used my inhaler.

A little chilly in the house this morning. I turned the heat back off yesterday and didn't turn it back on. It's supposed to be fairly warm today so it's not getting turned back on again.

I have to get a few groceries and other household items. I also need to clean the house up and am doing laundry right now.

Making an omelet too. All the kids are still in bed. They must've been up all night watching movies.

I'm doing laundry while drinking my second cup of coffee. I'm going the finish the quilt that I'm working on, watch "Juno" (my Netflix choice), read the New York Times, most likely take a nap and then warm up some yummy pasta for dinner.

I love Sundays...and it's raining (something to celebrate in southern California!!)

I'm staring out the window at the BEAUTIFUL day outside, and shooting glaring looks at my work laptop sitting next to me ... it reminds me that I have two major reports due tomorrow and I need to work on them today if I'm going to meet that deadline.

I'd much rather go outside and clean out my iris beds and put down some weed preventive. It's going to rain tonight, and I just know those little weed seeds will start sprouting tomorrow.

I'm sort of like Glenda. I don't know. I still can't do much. I slept late, made breakfast and I'm still enjoying my coffee. I've been watching some tv and folding towels, etc. I will probably go out to check the garden today and do some watering. I still have on my pj's and haven't decided if I'll stay in them or get dressed for the first time in quite a while. :o)

So far, I've showered and typed up the minutes of a committee meeting I chaired last week (I played hooky from church today). For the rest of the day, I will read and finished a "fluff" book I started yesterday, make meatloaf for dinner, and reply to some emails.

We are in a severe tstorm warning right now! Good gosh its March and we have LOTS of snow on the ground!! About 4 am this morning, we had a storm roll thru with thunder and lightening and rain and pea to marble size hail! Unreal.
Now they are saying this next storm has an excess of 60mph winds with the rain! ick ick ick! Torrential rain will flood roads and ditches.

I ran to the store earlier and out to check on rainboots that 4 year old Drew wants badly.None here. I found some online and am waiting for DD to email me and let me know if I should order them. I'm done going out for the day and I am staying in til tomorrow! LOL

Bought stuff for the Fruit Magic cake someone posted her long ago. Its about perfect for DH and I.
Trying to figure out supper,I am thinking Rueben sandwiches on the griddle. Or potato soup. or chicken fried chicken! LOL Who knows what we will end up with.

Heck its 1 pm and we have all the lights on in the house, it may be a good day to catch a Sunday nap too!

It's a gorgeous day here in SW. Pa., nice and sunny, a little chilly but warming up.....We went to 9:30 Mass, then had breakfast with another couple....(I love our Sunday breakfasts...) I put a nice big roast in the oven, read the paper and now, just finished a cup of tea and waiting for our DD to stop....It's going to be a very lazy, lazy day...But then most of my days are nice and lazy.....

I read this post this morning and didn't have a clue what I was going to do. It's 3:30 and I still don't. Did change the sheets and did a load of laundry. Dinner's leftovers so I've had pretty much a brain-free day.

Well, DH and I went to the local Ymca this am, came home and tackled DD room, she's 17 and it was bursting at the seams, I finally broke down and couldn't take it anymore. Spent 2 hours cleaning it...

Did several loads of laundry but otherwise I was pretty lazy today..

DH is starting dinner...

Yesterday watched granddaughter and had a fun day, I'm still recovering from that LOL

Went to church...(got there late)...went to buffet afterwards.

The weather is still pretty nice (we've been having beautiful spring like weather) so I went out and finished raking around the flower gardens in front of the porch. I got three garbage bags stuffed full of leaves and trash that has blown in there...

Got the porch cleaned off yesterday.

I have a small round "ice cream" table out on porch that I like to keep a cloth on...but it keeps blowing off...so I'm going to sew a round one with elastic so it will fit tight over the top...YES...no more blowing.

Having a group of ladies here on Friday..so am doing some spring beautification....LOL...hope it works.

Anyhoo...I've been busy...and right now I'm taking a break.

Bad weather is blowing in..supposed to be here by 6:00 or so...So grammahony...batten the hatches...we're supposed to be in for it..maybe some hail...get that new car of yours in the garage.

We have company for the weekend. Today we went to the home and garden show at the high school. Ended up buying cookware that cost a fortune. lol Our company bought the same set that we did. We did have a great time and then we went to Taco Bell for a late lunch.
