Stay home and work in the yard, but may have to make a trip to Houston with my husband to get some boat papers signed.

Take our grandson to our condo on the mountain for an overnight. He starts school on Thursday and has been whining we haven't done anything all summer. I feel bad for him, but with gas prices and having to work and the garden, it's been almost impossible to get away. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd be raising a second family.

We were going to ride our bikes.. but it looked to much like rain. Rained a tiny bit too so far. Thus, now I am working on my latest biking journal, and Jerry is doing the outline for the second coat of paint in our exercise room. I shall join him in the painting game in a while. LOL

Going to church, then out to my sisters for a family get together. My DD and her family are here from California, and all the kids, and grandkids can fish, swim there and go on a pontoon boat ride, because they live on a lake.

He will be 2 years old on Thursday. He can't wait for CAKE and a tractor. All he wants to see in the toy isles is "Tractors"

We were planning to go check out the yard sale but decided last night not to afterall. I do still want to go to Big Lots but not sure I'll make it there either. I have to do some grocery shopping and mop the kitchen floor.

Cold, wet and dreary. Going to do a bit of laundry and watch a movie or two. A wonderful lazy day!
May even have to turn on the fireplace, it's chilly here!

The usual, working inside and outside the house. I have to fill the nail holes with wood putty on the new trim then paint. I have a ton of things to get to outside.

Nothing. The past few days and evenings have been so busy...I need to just sit and relax for a day.
I'm making pulled BQ pork, and we'll eat that whenever.

Birthday pool party for my son (he'll be 14 on Tuesday). 5 additional teenagers, I'm seriously frightened :-P. Have plenty of chips and dip and salsa and sodas, plenty of pool toys, and the radio. I really can't think of anything else I need, unless anyone has any extra sanity to spare? It's already been a tense morning between son and step-dad, but I think they're ironing it all out and I think it'll be a good day, as long as the weather cooperates!

I slept in this morning. Now I am cooking the meatballs for pasta tonight and the dough is mixing for the dinner rolls. I did some needlepoint, and I'm going to quilt. I was going to weed outside, but it's raining, and raining hard. I kind of like rainy days when I am home though...they're such sleepy, relaxed days.

I watched "Legend of the Falls" for probably the 4th time. The good thing about getting old is....you forget the end. LOL!

I'm recuperating from yesterdays adventure on the Lake with Main Man. My hips are sore from bouncing around on the Wave Runners. My back is killing me from trying to get the Wave Runners off of the Sand Bar.

I ain't doin' nuttin today!

I watered my gardens,picked a bouquet for the kitchen table.the rest of the day i will probably just putter,maybe work on my cross stitch.
