Instead of hooking up internet at my (very soon to be) house, they unhooked my service at my apartment.

ARGH!!!

and off to work I go now.

It's surprising how complicated a company can make a simple job turn out isn't it? I hope they get it straightened out fast for you.

AT&T sure has changed. We had it in CA for many years over 10 years ago, and had a cell. It was great and not bad priced, got cell phone service everywhere. Moved here could not get it, so switched. Would not go back after hearing some of the horror stories.

Do Not Call used to work, but is worthless these days. We were ready to just get rid of our landline as we get several robo calls every day, and they were driving us crazy. I hated the idea of just having a cell and carrying that room to room, but it had come to that. Then I tried nomorobo Awesome! One ring and it's gone I can take one ring, then silence, but the ringing until the answering machine picked up as it did previously, is just plain annoying! Caller ID announces on the TV, but the darn thing is still ringing.. We've had it since May, legit calls do get through, yes, even things like Drs offices and Optum RX (mail order prescriptions). I do check to see who it was calling often, and have yet to find even one legitimate call blocked. My husband and I both feel it's the best thing since sliced bread, and free to boot!!

Does my current siding color go well with my roof color?

It is the material. It isn't used terribly much. It makes me nervous, but my husband is sold and his cousin who has been in the siding/window business for almost 30 years says he thinks it is the best product. It only rusts if it is scratched and you don't seal the scratch. I looked at some rental properties of someone who has the product. The property was 16 years old and looked very new. I did see a few scratches, but even they weren't rusty. Photoshop would be nice! My roof does have some red in it. It is more of a bronze-brown. It is hard for me to work with as I don't see it on many houses, so it's harder for me to picture with different colors. Here is the house in the sun last summer if that makes the roof color more clear. Darn perfectionism....I'm so lenient with the choices of others, but mine have to be perfect...

I LOVE my Smartphone. My son got me one for Christmas. He pays my bill. Sadly I busted it. I am due for an upgrade in December so right now I have an older one. Still does all the good stuff. I'll get the bigger screen one then. I love being able to take pictures, have my grocery list in my notes, have my Hobby Lobby coupon right with me and a lot of other things that they do. My son just bought a new one about a month ago. While the guy was telling him about it he threw it across the room. The new cases they come in now are so much better. Unless you run over it with your car like I did. They can be pricey.. Love my smartphone. Would hate to be without it..

No it doesn't, I only had it on my phone. I downloaded it again but I'm afraid it will disappear lol. I'm going to be trying a few other apps. I want to be able to sync and backup. I found a recipe one I like a lot that syncs and backs up but if you add more than 20 recipes it's no longer free. It may be worth it. I had a different app for my list and stuff I really liked that I had synced to my pc and tablet but they suddenly discontinued it and suggested Evernote which I don't like nearly as much. I am really glad we didn't lose contacts or pictures!

45 minutes on the phone yesterday... and 25 minutes doing set up on the computer today... and I have my internet back.

Darn AT&T! Should never have disconnected me.

It's not just AT&T. We had the same problem with Comcast. And my daughter had a nightmare with Direct TV. And don't get me started with our Verizon experience. Geez -- you pay these "services" BIG bucks and they ALL give you grief for the privilege of paying them, because you don't even have a choice of not using them. These monopolies are customer no-service. And that's the only company you can use because your city signed some contract to make them the only provider. AAARRGGHH!!
