Foodsavers is having a sale on the handhelds.

and put in code J0FV85FS you can get the handheld foodsaver for $3.60. That includes shipping. The second figure in the code is a number zero, not the letter o. Thought it was a glitch, but one of the girl's called customer service there because she couldn't get anything at the website and they led her through the ordering process and I don't think they would give you instructions if it was a glitch. I couldn't get it to work several times, but it did the last time and I have one ordered.

bcskye, they must have "fixed" it, because I just tried and the code got me free shipping but the total was still $31.79. I didn't order...

OK, I tried it this morning, thanks for the email. Last night that page would not load, this morning it did. I ordered one for Amanda, $3.82, so thanks!

I haven't figured out my countertop one yet, but Dave wants to try one for venison sausage. I won't be any help, every single package of our last batch of canadian bacon has now come unsealed. Sigh.

It's about what I pay ( but I pay that in Cdn dollars so it's probably more than I pay) . I eat turkey twice a year and absolutely love it. I buy a fresh turkey from a small local meat store and judging by the line-up on pick up days, I'm not the only one who thinks that it is worth it.

Dawn the pics are great...the machines HUGE.Boy I would love to spend a day in that massive laundry room playing. Commercial laundry facilities sure have come a long way in how linens were washed in the past. Many moons ago just having a wringer washer on ships, hospitals, ect was a very big deal..Thank you Dawn for sharing these pictures...Love them. Lisa, I love all of your wall hangings. Right up my alley. Lol. Also love the washboards. I do have a few myself that I keep on display in the laundry. The older box of Borax on the cabinet top caught my eye. I used to collect vintage boxes of laundry supplies, but now days when I do see them on ebay or someplace they are $$$. Thank you Lisa for sharing your laundry room. I've enjoyed it. Thank you for this post...I've enjoyed the pictures and the special meaning behind this post. Your really so kindhearted.

Miserable creatures....rose leaves aren't enough for them! What next, Jim? I had a yearly, severe wooly aphid Infestation on my in ground bonsai apple tree. They would even group together like a Roman Testudo which shielded themselves from the spray. Every year I sprayed them with Imidacloprid, but to no avail. When I began drenching the tree with Imidacloprid it knocked them across the Mason Dixon Line. However, fruit that forms on the tree, a Golden Delicious, is not fit to eat because of the drench. The solution has been to remove any developing apples early on to prevent any problems. I grow the tree more for its aesthetics as a bonsai rather than for its fruit. Moses

Thanks, bcskye and moosemac. It worked for me just now here in Arizona, currently Pacific time, at noon today. In fact, I ordered two at $3.60 each, so $7.20, shipping included.

This is apparently only good on the $19.99 model, but if you want the $29.99 model, it will get you free shipping as far as I can tell.
