I have used colors on both the Kilim Beige, Ivoire, and Sea Salt strips. IMO, Kilim Beige and Ivoire would not flow. Neither would Kilim Beige and Sea Salt. Sea Salt looks better with creamy colors (actually Sea Salt and Ivoire would look nice together). I have Comfort Gray (one shade darker than Sea Salt) in a bedroom with a creamy yellow (not bright) bedspread and valance and I think the combo looks clean and crisp. You might try Kilim Beige with a sage green like Liveable Green, SW 6176. Svelte Sage may be a bit too dark and too gray. A lot depends on your lighting, so it's always a good idea to get the sample bottles of Color-To-Go and try them on poster board.

I realize this thread is from three years ago but in case SW Divine White is coming up in a search for someone in 2012. I think the posters above had great results using the color in combination with others (the kitchen cabinets) and in the stairwell, where the two-story openness and color contrast with wall below it break up the color scheme. However, I just painted our largest bedroom in Divine White and find the color dingy, too grey and tinged with too much pink/mauve for my taste. It may be because of the contrast with a very light ceiling and light floor. Thus I would caution anyone against using the color on four walls unless you test it and make sure you like it in all lighting.

Hi treasuretheday! We decided on Kilim Beige as well for our entire house. However I am going with Alabaster (white, but not a bright white) for our ceiling and trim. Personally, I love the way beige and taupes look with white ceilings and trim. All the colors on the Kilim Beige strip are great. We originally thought we'd go with Nomadic Desert on the same strip, but it had a pink undertone in my space and I was afraid it was too dark. So definitely paint large swatches in your space and look at it in different lights. Your painter can always make Kilim Beige darker as well. We liked a certain color for our exterior and wanted something slightly darker for an accent color. So the painter made it 25% darker, not sure what he mixed it with, but it looks nice. Again, this is personal preference, but I think I would do the soffit the same color as the walls. Then the columns either the same color as the walls or the same color as the trim. I'd consider doing the trim/crown in Alabaster (I think this would look nice since your windows are white)and the ceiling in Divine White. Then the medallion either Alabaster or something to match the light fixture. What finish will your light fixtures be, especially the one hanging from the medallion? What color will your light switches and outlets be? What color are your cabinets? Check out www.houzz.com, that is where I found the above picture. Zory, there is definite contrast, enough that you know the walls are not painted the same color as the trim. But it’s not super high contrast. I am going to attach a few photos. They are not ideal but I am out of town and these are the best that I have on my camera currently. I could take some better ones for you if I were at home. My kitchen cabinets are painted the same color as my trim and my ceiling is painted Heron Plume like my walls. If you focus on areas where you can see the white trim or cabinets next to the painted wall or ceiling, hopefully you will get an idea of what it looks like.
