How matchy-matchy does my lighting need to be?(pics)

We are in the process of building a home. The end is FINALLY in sight and now I'm trying to pick out lighting for the whole thing...(without blowing the budget)

We have an open floor plan and I am trying to coordinate 3 pendants for the kitchen, wall sconces for the entry & chandelier for the dining area. It's one big open area, not indiviual room. If the light fixtures are all the same finish - ORB, is that good enough or should they be pretty close to the same style, same product line?

Here is the kitchen (in progress) I need 3 hanging lights to go over the island.

I need wall sconces for here. Hmmm, ORB might be too dark on this wall color. Maybe I should go satin nickel or something for this.

I'm liking this pendant

And I like this one too!

I'd appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

What wall sconces would you put in this space?
