henredon sofa
Comments (4)sorry to say my first really bad experience with henredon furniture happened this year. after owning many beautiful pieces with no problem, this gorgeous dining room table had a soft finish and scratch easily even with a soft fingernail. to make a long story short, after several months of arguing with customer service, sending tons of great quality digi photos, they claim someone must have altered the finish after the table left the factory new. i purchased from a reputable dealer who claims she purchased from her normal henredon sources. feel free to contact me if you want more. you pay a premium price for this brand and would've expected premium customer service. nope, not to be. don...See MoreHenredon Dining Table & Chairs - help with pattern name??
Comments (0)Hi! I found this forum by searching about Henredon dining sets, and saw that you all were so helpful to someone else who inquired about this furniture, so I thought I'd post my question to see if anyone could help me answer it. I just stumbled upon a gorgeous Henredon dining set at the local church thrift store. It's a large dining table with 3 oversized leafs, 8 chairs (6 armless and 2 with arms), and all pads (including the cloth bags to store them in). The whole set is in great condition with the exception of small cane back damage on two chairs. The wood (pecan?) is patterned and is of a medium tone, the two "leg/pedestal" sections are a lighter painted wood. The chairs are done in the lighter painted wood too, with cane backs. I know the painted part is done by Henredon (and not aftermarket) as my parents had a VERY similar set from Drexel Heritage years ago and it was the exact same coloring/style (also the main reason I jumped on this set...nostalgia!). Anyway, I'll be posting pictures shortly, but was hoping someone on here could help me ID the name/pattern of the set. There are two sets of numbers on the bottom "20-5301-51" and "543 L19". Any help would be greatly appreciated! We're not sure if we are going to keep the set or re-sell it, as it may just be too large for our dining room. Either way, I'd like to know the name. Thanks in advance!!! Happy Holidays!!...See MoreUsed Leather Couches? Stickely? Drexel?
Comments (7)I prefer the color of the Stickleys (I do not like tan leather), and if they were in good shape IRL, and if I thought they met my needs, and if I could work them into my home/style/decor, I would offer $3500 for the two. The back cushions show a little wear, but the bottom cushions are in great shape from what I can see. Also, the wear overall to the leather just gives them a slight distressed look IMHO. Kudos to you for accepting what your family needs. I know how you love color and fabric - you can still have that with leather - just keep the colors rich looking - nothing too pastelly (is that a word) or too girly. I've seen you post a lot of vibrant colors and you can make it work for you....See MoreAnyone have a custom made Basset, Henredon or Sherrill sofa?
Comments (41)My mom purchased a new custom sectional, 100% polyester fabric, from Bassett about 6 months ago. No off gassing from day one, very well made and sturdy. It is extremely comfortable and have had many positive compliments regarding the style, comfort, and quality. We would definitely purchase from Bassett again but only through their custom program which is made in the USA. We did not like the quality of their other furniture they had on the showroom floor. It looked cheap like it was made in China. The only problem we incurred was delivery took twice as long as quoted. However, they did not charge her for delivery and gave a nice discount on another purchase she made. Our store was located on in Kennesaw, Ga....See Moreallison0704
