Here you go, Pammyfay. We really liked it. It'd be good with chicken instead of tuna, too.

TUNA SALAD W/PECANS AND RAISINS (JoCooks)

2 cans of tuna, drained
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
1/3 cup celery, chopped
1 cup pecans, chopped
1/2 tbsp dry dill or 2 tbsp fresh dill
1/2 cup raisins
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
salt and pepper to taste
2 tomatoes, sliced for garnish
lettuce leaves for garnish

Chop the onions, parsley, pecans, and celery. In a large bowl, add all the ingredients, with the exception of the tomatoes and lettuce. Mix everything together. Serve on lettuce as a salad or on a croissant as a sandwich.

I think I'll try craisins, too. Good idea! First time I always make it just like the recipe, but if you like more/less or no celery you could add chopped water chestnuts for the crunch. Or peanuts instead of pecans. It's just salad, 'ya know?

I tried making tuna salad yesterday, using my own recipe of drained tuna,mayo and chopped celery. I added way too much mayo,it came out too gloppy,like soup. Drove back to the store to buy 2 more cans of tuna to add to it. Lucky it was $1 a can.

Recipe sounds good.
