I have always liked Farrow's Cream, which I used in my old house.

I have this wallpaper for my bathroom, and love the color. Would like to emulate this, but just a bit lighter.

Farrow's Cream looks like it might be a good fit! Is that something Lowe's would carry?

That color looks good too! This weekend, I'm going to do huge patches on each wall. Then see how the color looks with different light, in different rooms. It's been quite a conundrum, and hubby is getting annoyed. But it's going to be the entire downstairs color, and I'll have to live with it daily till we sell the house lol.

Sherwin Williams Compatible Cream is nice in the right light.

Which color looks good? Numerous have been suggested.

Compatible Cream and Farrow's Cream are definitely two that I will be testing thus far. But they all look pretty!

This is so hard because we don't have the trim painted white yet, or curtains picked out or the new floor color applied yet lol. I know paint can look nicer (or not so nice) depending on what else is going on in the room.

Our trim will be basic white, our sectional this color...

And maybe our curtains...still unsure on this one...

Farrow and Ball is a premium paint, available only via Farrow and Ball.

I do know that Ben Moore can match most FnB colors, I don't know if Lowe's does.

Some will tell you it is not as good, but a lot of people feel that matched paint is fine.If you want to keep the price down, I say you can always sample it.

If you take a scrap of your wallpaper to Sherwin-Williams, they can match the color, then mix it lighter.

I have a nice soft yellow-tan on my walls in most of the house, Behr Navajo White, mixed in another brand though. In the small northwest room where other items are olive green, it looks more yellow; in the larger south & southwest rooms downstairs where there are more reds and browns, it looks more tan.

This is SW Jersey Cream in a northwest bedroom. It has a lot of yellow but I really like it. This is with the ceiling light. I'll post another of the wall without the ceiling light on.

On my monitor your wallpaper looks very close to what I have in my foyer...BM Lighthouse Landing.

Is the floor down yet, if not take care. Your floor is lovely but it is a little reddish and it will bring out the yellow in my experience.

Our floor is the original HW, but has not been refinished yet. It's been a rough road trying to choose a floor stain also lol. I am loving a lot of these colors, this is going to be difficult!

Very pleasant, pale 'perfect' yellow that doesn't go screaming off in any direction.

Sherwin Williams has a fold-out brochure called Whites and Lights. There are 50 samples that will help you find the right tone of beige. Samples that look creamy may look very yellow in the room.

Take a look at Benjamin Moores Powell Buff or Monroe Bisque.

I second Harvest Time.

BM HC 35 Powell Buff is a warm golden beige.

Take a look at BM Soleil. Soft and buttery yellow. I used it on ceilings in kitchen and dining room with Pashmina walls.

Well, before you buy all those samples, get the chips from the store and do some comparison in the rooms you intend to use them in. I was able to eliminate quite a few colors (that I actually liked rather well by themselves) once I put them next to my floors, drapes, in different light etc.
Some brands of paint sell large swatches as well for much less than a sample pot.

Hubby thing is all in the phrasing! Ie: "It's cheaper to take my time picking the paint than to pick the wrong paint and have to redo it!"

What about BM Standish white?

Try BM Pittsfield Buff. It is a soft gold by day that is not too yellow and looks a pretty tan when cloudy or at night.

I have Sherwin Williams Believable Buff in most of my living areas. It's a pretty, yellowish beige.

I used Behr's Country Beige. I do not have photo of it on this laptop but here is a room painted that color. It is definitely a creamy yellow with a beige tint.
