Susan's schedule is probably best for you. Leave them in the shade for about nine days (but at least a week) if the weather is predicted to be mild and not windy. (I tend to err on the side of caution for hardening plants off.) Diffused natural light without a filter has a great many more lumens than any light we give them inside. That shade may seem tame to you, but to seedlings, it's heady stuff that won't burn them! Then on the weekend when you're home, move them into the early morning and late afternoon sunlight. Finally, expose them to full sunlight all day until you can transplant them. Then you should be able to plant them out without fear of their sun-scalding. And there's another way. Trudi of Winter-Sowing reputation recommends setting the seedlings outside all day under a laundry basket that has holes in the sides large enough to allow diffused light to come through as well as air circulation. You could also use one of those to shade your seedlings if you don't have a shady spot. You could leave them all there for a week to nine days, and then remove the basket and let them toast in the sun. Either way, just make sure you keep them watered and bring them inside if it's going to be windy or too cold for them.

I love the new set! I have a very similar set up and always keep a throw and pillows on the loveseat. That's my favorite spot to chill/read..you just need a bit of color on the loveseat. It looks comfortable. That's great that your husband liked it!

Thanks :) I've tried the art in different locations along the wall (height wise) and I don't really like it anywhere except centered with the picture-frame moulding boxes. In person, it is also more apparent that it lines up w/ the top swoop of the breakfront... so I don't think it looks as off in person as it does in pictures. I don't have enough paintings right now to stack, but if I find more, that might be a possibility in the future. With only one in each of the molding areas, though, they really do need to be centered height-wise with the molding or it looks weird!

Thank you! But my goal was not to get a mother or father of 3 young kids arrested. I read that is what police would do. They just texted and said that the dog ran away, and asked to be on a look out. So I went on a look out. Found the dog in their garage, with multiple threads tied to the garage's door to make sure nobody enters (are they keeping drugs there? ;) ). They did not bother to text again and report that the dog was caught. The dog came to the window, lice sticking out of her face, nails overgrowing to a circle shape. Horrible. At least garage door has a tarp instead of one picked of wood, so now I can squeeze food and water in just in case she is not fed.
