Really like the patterned ones but not the plain. Flesh-colored blah, IMO. A deeper color I think would be better, like the background of the patterned covers.

How awesome that it was a free set!! The chairs look good, but the loveseat cushions do look a bit squooshed in. Try the patterned cushions on the loveseat, and see if the pattern will disguise the fit issue. I agree that the patterned cushions are better looking.

Thanks! I thought all patterned would be too much and the only compatible Solid color was the Taupey stone color. The other side of the porch is has a white wicker rocker & table. I can ways mix the cushions up and have a combo solid & pattern on each of the pieces? I'll try that combo & take a pic. I think the cushions will work & that I just have to play w/ them?

I like everything except the bottom cushions on the love seat. Can you try just rotating the whole shebang back to front? Maybe with the back cushions just hanging out on the floor? I don't mind the taupe personally and think the taupe would look lovely with some terracotta or chocolate brown accent cushions.

Love the patterned chairs. Don't mind the color of the loveseat, but it is a little wonky. Would you consider one cushion for the seat and one for the back on the loveseat if they even make them that size? That could possibly work also, if you like that look.

What other colour were available? Were they all neutrals or some actual colours. I like the patterned ones but the ones on the loveseat just don't say "relaxing on the porch with a cup of coffee/glass of wine" They're not outdoorsy, peaceful fun colour. JMHO

I love neutrals. I might have done the reverse those. Pattern on the loveseat and plain on the chairs. That said, I like it, just tweak the cushions as mentioned.

So, I was reading your post, but could only see the old pics. I was thinking to myself, "how can tell her those are not her style at all and they just do not work?" Whew to scrolling down to see the new. I like the colours a lot and think with throw cushions, it will look great. I, honestly, wouldn't have noticed the squishedness at all if you hadn't mentioned it. I'm pretty sure that once the loops are removed and you can finesse them a bit they will work, but you can probably tell best from being there in person. I think they will look great, but do you think they will feel okay for sitting on? That would be the test for me.

Rarely does Mr. Fox get excited AND mention my decorating on something new, but he came home early today to attend school conferences w/ me and before he even said 'Hi' he belted out that he really, really liked the new cushions. And w/ a smile. A smile that showed teeth! He said he noticed the difference right away when he was driving down the street. I told him not to be so hasty, that I could take them back and he said no they look great. I told him to take a test sit before truly deciding. He said that it was all so much better. I will keep my eyes open for throw pillows and am looking forward to adding potted flowers soon. I added 2 cement urn candles to the tables just as a look-see.

Will clean up, dress up and show pictures this weekend maybe!

I like them but agree the 2 cushions on the love seat look squished together. If you could get the same thing in a single cushion it might fit better. It's early in the season so here's hoping you'll find something.

I agree with Tibb and Jlc, but throw pillows might make a difference.

I love the new set! I have a very similar set up and always keep a throw and pillows on the loveseat. That's my favorite spot to chill/read..you just need a bit of color on the loveseat. It looks comfortable. That's great that your husband liked it!

I'd use all patterned cushions. The set and area is too small, IMO, to try a mix and match look.

I agree- I would probably use all patterned cushions... the pattern might hide a bit of the squoosh too. throw pillows would definitely help a lot tho if you keep what you have. I wouldn't mix and match patterned and solids on the chairs tho...

All patterned cushions is my vote as well.

I like them, both patterned and plain. I wonder if you sit on them awhile, if the cushion will form an indention around the arm post that seems to be squishing it in. Then it will probably look fine.

I like the mix. I think if all the cushions were patterned it might be a bit busy. I'd just get a pillow for the loveseat and I think it will look perfect.
